3 vegan options

I was pleased to find this place through Happy Cow. There is a separate vegan section in the menu with 3 options: 2 types of hamburgers, and one type of falafel. I had the quinoa burger that was more vegetably, as I assumed the pea protein would be more meat like. Thanks to the reviews I knew there’s no sauce so I asked for the mango-mint sauce that comes with the falafels to be put in my burger - no problem. And it was lovely! It came with fries and I asked for ketchup - no problem. They also explained that the sauce of the patatas bravas contains mayonnaise so not suitable for vegans - the waiter seemed to know his stuff. Knowing what Spain can be like for vegans I was very pleased that they offered 3 choices. The staff were very friendly.

Very disappointing

I ordered the vegan pea protein burger. It tasted very much like meat. I enquired about it and they assured me it was vegan. It must have been made of those meat like tasting patties. I expected something made of vegetables, like peas, just like the name. I can’t stand the taste of meat anymore, so I couldn’t eat it. Be aware those who can’t stomach vegan stuff that tastes like meat. The burger was made of the bun, raw white onion, one slice of tomato and some leaves of rucola. No sauce or anything else. Quite pathetic actually.
They charged me for it although I only had a bite that I had to spit out.

Good option if you need something vegan

The menu has clearly labelled vegan options. They are 2 burgers and some crisps. I had the vegan pea protein burger with fries. The taste was good but nothing special. The burger bun was really nice. Could have had some sauce on it though. In case you are hungry, this is a good alternative to get some vegan food😄
