Exceptional drinks, good food - Edit
The look of this place is just so cool, the decor is great and the Vibe immaculate, especially for more alternative folks. The service Was great, the waitress was super nice and the food came surprisingly quick, despite there being quite a few customers.
Read moreThe paella was very tasty, though I would have wished for a bit more intense flavour. The portion sice was big and definetely filled you up.
The sangria in the other Hand was just exceptional. Amazing taste, super fresh food and for the price super big as well.
Will definetely come back when in Barcelona!

Great sangrias - Edit
We had sangrias and paëllas at Bubita Sangria Bar - the sangrias are super fancy and tasty. The paëllas offer the opportunity to try out vegan calamari and the tapas plate allows you to taste vegan shrimps as well. Just for that, we recommend this place!

So many types of sangria, and paella to accompany the drinks. They have some lighter dishes as well, I had the summer ceviche, which contained the incredible vegan shrimp!

Good food, good service, amazing neighborhood - Edit
Food is great. I had Mariska paellia with vegan seafood. Vegan seafood looks like shrimp, has a texture similar to a shrimp, but pretty much tasteless. Service is very nice and it is placed in a very colourful neighborhood.

Great Sangria! - Edit
The sangria's were absolutely delicious and the presentation of each was wonderful. The paella was really good in regards to flavour but I would have liked a bigger portion like you usually see in other restaurants.

Fantastic food! - Edit
Great paella for vegans. I have the prawn version one day and the chicken version the other - plus all the dips. The only issue is the waiting staff do take a really long time. Would recommend.

Not worth it - Edit
The menu was tempting, but the food fell short. My paella was lukewarm and the fake seafood was cold. The drink was the only highlight. I won't be returning.

Amazing - Edit
Confused by some of the poor reviews saying the food was bland or didn't live up to the hype, we got the "Spanish vibes" which is like a seafood tapas and it was DELICIOUS.
Read moreCame with two types of prawns and battered calamari which definitely had flavour, especially when dipped in the two types or creamy sauce.
The olives, pickles, fruit etc was all perfect, great taste
We really loved this food. Keep in mind I don't think it's supposed to be a meal, it's just a snack.
It's a little expensive but I think you'd be paying similar for a non vegan version of the same thing.
Really yummy, would definitely eat here again

Nice spot in Barcelona - Edit
Nice vegan restaurant in the heart of Barcelona. The paella and the chicken-like bagel were really good. Giving 4 stars because I felt the portion for paella was a bit small and there were no tapas for the lunch menu.

Sangria e paella eccellenti. - Edit

Doesn’t live up to the hype - Edit
I was excited to try Bubita after reading all the great reviews. What a disappointment. The food was mediocre at best and was not even served hot, it was all room temperature. The shrimp and calamari were tough and lacking flavor. The gnocchi was delicious, but cold. It it were served hot, or even warm, it would have helped.

Warm and cozy vibe with Outstanding Tapas and Sangria - Edit
Looking for Spanish cuisine in Barcelona, and we found Bubita, an amazing restaurant with a warm ambience, friendly servers and outstanding Spanish tapas! Everything from the olives and baked gnocchi to the “seafood” platter and chocolate dessert were outstanding. The many sangria choices with perfectly balanced flavors made for a fun outing. The servers were welcoming and helpful.
