Vegan Vietnamese Street Food

This was my first vegan meal while traveling in Vietnam, and it didn't disappoint! We ordered the vegan donuts, spring rolls, another item, which I forgot the name, and they were all delicious. In addition, I brought my family who are meet eaters, and they also loved the food. Not all the items on the menu were available; however, the taste, friendly staff, and prices made up for it! We also sat on small chairs around a small table on the sidewalk. Eat here if you want an authentic Vietnamese street food experience!

Pros: Inexpensive, delicious

Cons: Not all items on the menu were available.

Brilliant

I popped down here after visiting the Hoa Lò prison as I fancied a snack!

I had the savoury pastry and it was filling delicious and cheap (10000 dong) and the man that served me was very courteous

Pros: Price, Food, Service

Authentic Vegan Street Food, What More Could You Ask For?

This place is so great, and the family who run it are some of the nicest people I've met in Vietnam! As someone mentioned, they are a family of committed vegans for the animals, and they really appreciate vegans coming by (many of their customers are locals who don't care either way).

All their fried goodies are amazingly delicious... and definitely try what they call their "donut." It's like a stuffed, fried mochi ball, in savory and sweet versions. Oh, and their "che" is the best I've had in Vietnam! Maybe your only chance for authentic all-vegan street food in Vietnam, definitely in Hanoi... I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Pros: delicious, cheap, authentic

Cons: none!

Come early

We arrived just after 6 on a weekday, and there were only a few things left - some filled buns and spring rolls. Tasty and friendly service, and we only paid about 40,000 between us.

Excellent street food!

Was surprisingly easy to find, but there wasn't a lot of selection. I devoured numerous spring rolls and something that looked like an empanada. They were soooo delicious! Full of mushrooms, vermicelli and vegetables. I also liked getting to sit right on the street like everyone else =)

Pros: Vegan street food!, Delicious, Inexpensive

Cons: Not a lot of variety

nice snack

Tasty snack. I wouldn't recommend it as a full meal, but it's a really good snack for in between. and I love to try typical Vietnamese cuisine in a vegan version.
plus the woman is really nice :)

vegan street food

Finally a possibility to eat Vietnamese vegan food from those small plastic chairs together with other Vietnamese people. The lady owning it is super friendly and very helpful, and the food is authentic and cheap. Very exciting to eat on the sidewalk :))

Satisfying and cheap!

The nem (spring rolls) were my favorite and the Banh Goi (pillow cake) is a must try. Would definitely recommend to those travelling on a tight budget. They don't speak English however the service is great.

Pros: Delicious, Cheap

Cons: Do not speak English

so delicious!

I have eaten every item available here several times and they are all so delicious! it may be a little hard to find, but it is totally worth it. You won't find kinder people anywhere, and it's the best street food I had in Vietnam.

Pros: 100% vegan, great value
