Delicious - Edit
Only 3 items on the menu, Banh ( baguette ), local samosas and spring rolls. We had all 3 and were highly impressed with them all.
Read moreWe both left feeling quite full, and the check was under 3$.
Just in case you don't notice the sign, they won't accept tips ( possibly culturally offensive to offer ), prefer you to write a positive review on here or TA.
Great place for vegan food in Hanoi.

Eating in someone's kitchen. - Edit
They spoke English and had a menu in English. They were sadly out of desserts but I had everything else on their small menu. Delicious and great service!

Nice Little Place, Sad Banh Mi - Edit
This is a cute little place tucked away in a small alley. The atmopshere is fun and interesting, but unfortunately the banh mi was a sad excuse for a vegan meal. When my wife and I went there, we ordered one each of the tofu and seitan banh mis and both were nothing but sad disappointment served on a flakey, dry roll. There was zero flavour and barely any vegtables or tofu/seitan on the bread.
Read moreWe also ordered the vegetable "donut" which was OK, but also nothing to write home about.
If you're in the area and in an absolute pinch, go eat here, but it's not a 'food destination' worth going out of your way for.
I feel really bad writing this because the lady who helped us was lovely and gave us 2 free bananas as well, but the food just isn't very good :(
Pros: Vegan. Free bananas.
Cons: Not good. Disappointing food.

Amazing prices! We enjoyed two Banh Mi subs, two appetizers and a dessert for about $3.50 Canadian. The dessert was really great. It’s not fancy - just good street food. Very nice staff.

Super cheap and really good banh mi and spring roll ! The spring roll was pretty oily, but that's fried food so ... I paid 5k for one spring roll, and 15k for one banh mi. All vegan place, super friendly people!

Senior Cat Sanctuary - Edit
Lovely, authentic place. The staff is super super friendly! They're definitely willing to put in effort. The food is great, all vegan, and to make it all even better they have three super friendly cats! They're old lads, 7,8 and 11 years old respectively, but can be really cuddly.

Fantastic place - Edit
Extremely cheap for Ho Chi Minh. 15k for a Banh Mi at the time of writing.
Read moreI went several times on my stay and tried everything on the short menu (Banh Mi, Samosa, Spring roll, vegan Chey) and everything was great! The Chey was was extremely filling.
It is slightly hard to find as there was no cart when I went, once at the point google maps takes you too, go down the alley and you will be met by the friendly owners and invited into their home which has only 3 small tables.
Pros: cheap, tasty, friendly, cosy
Cons: a little hard to find

We did not love the sandwich. The pate was not our taste and there was a fake ham that we didn't care for either.

Great authentic place - Edit
This place is run by a local family who are all vegan (including the children) they run this eatery out of their house and when we went, you could either eat in the front of their house, which is down the alleyway off the main road (around their 2 cats and giggly young daughter) or out on the main street.
Read moreThe banh mi tasted great, aswell as the samosa and spring roll.
They don't speak much English but were very friendly and do know the words "everything is vegan!" Haha.
I will definitely be coming back here a lot. Just 15k for a banh mi filled with flavour, 10k a samosa and 5k a spring roll.
This place is the most genuine vegan alternative of local Vietnamese street food i have seen so far.
Pros: Very cheap, Genuinely local , Tasty food
Cons: Closes at 7pm (would love if it was open until lat, Just 4 items on the menu

Hidden gem! - Edit
What a lovely little food stall that sells mock meat banh mi - the banh mi was crispy and the flavours were great. This stall also sells delicious deep fried spring rolls and savoury donuts, and the dipping sauce went well with them both. Would recommend for some of the best vegan banh mi in Hanoi!
Read moreIt's located in an alley off the main road, look for the an Chay sign and it's the alley on the right of it!

A MUST DO FOR VEGANS IN HANOI! - Edit
We rocked up to this place for lunch and the reviews and 5 stars do not lie! This place was incredible! Slightly confused whether we were actually in the right spot or not, we looked around until a lady came and handed us some menus and pulled out some plastic chairs for us to sit on near the side of the street. The food was so good! We had 3 of the Banh Mi, samosas and spring rolls! We regretted not getting more as when we went back to get more the next day (Saturday) unfortunately it was closed.
