It is rare to find vegan street food in Vietnam so it was great to find this one and the sandwich was fabulous and only cost 12000 vnd (slightly up from a previous review)

Read morecan only confirm, what's been said. surprisingly tasty crisp bread, just yummy inside (mock meat, greens, salad...), just the right amount of spicy sauce, very friendly vendor, even at around 7pm, when they have probably been there all day.
10,000 dong is unbeatable and they also have a small oven, so they even heat up the banh mi at the end. awesome!
Pros: yum, cheap, vegan (i guess)

The only vegan (chay) banh mi stall we managed to find in central Da Nang. Much better than the banh mi's served in some of the typical vegan restaurants (quan chay) in town!

There's a non-vegan banh mi stall across the road, so don't get confused. It's clearly marked "Chay" though!
Unsure about the opening hours, we've only been there in the morning but we've seen similar stalls open later as well.
