Limited options, not super tasty - Edit
I was a bit disappointed at the flavour, or lack thereof, to be honest. It tasted like key ingredients were missing in the flavour profile of my pad see ew in order for them to meet the 'vegan' brief, which was a bit of a disappointment.

Nostalgic - Edit
Recently reopened, Bangkok on Darby really satisfies the tastebuds. We enjoy eating here every time we visit Newcastle on our way up and down the coastline. It has that classic Thai vibe about it. Authentic.

It’s a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Order on their website for take away, give them a call or just pop in. There’s seating for maybe 20 guests.
Limited street parking, typical of the City. Close to the tram station. Park a block away and walk if you have to.
Vegan mains max out at $20 with large portions.
Coconut Rice, large is $5.50. Steamed rice, large is $5. Would recommend 1 large rice per 2 people.
BYO wine only, $3 corkage per person.

Pros: Has all the classics, very tasty , wholesome portions.
Cons: Limited parking, small restaurant , not 100% vegan restaurant.
