Not exactly 'Thai' - Edit
So, on the good side, the service was friendly, if a bit slow/shambolic on a very quiet evening, and the price wasn't bad for Antibes. The food was more of an issue. Everything was edible, nothing was terrible, but I'd happily bet that nobody in the kitchen is Thai - it tasted like they were using bland supermarket sauces, rather than someone with any familiarity with Thai cooking and spices creating something

Great Thai food - Edit
All main dishes can be made vegan with tofu/veg. Lots of clearly labelled vegan options. We came on a Friday and it was buzzing, we could see why when the food arrived.

Great vegan food - Edit
We really enjoyed our food here. We had 2 pad Thai dishes , both vegan and shared a large beer which came to £29. The outdoor seating is very nice and the food is delicious. There are desserts that are labelled vegan but we didn’t manage to try those. Would recommend if you’re vegan and in Antibes

Good food & clear labeling - Edit
This is one of the few restaurants in Antibes where you find clear labeled vegan dishes. If you ask, they can also help you. The food and drinks are delicious!
Read moreIt's nice to sit inside and outside with a view on the harbour. Unfortunately the outside area is not very big, which means tables are very close to each other. This can be annoying, when someone at the next table starts smoking, while you are still eating.
Pros: Clear labeled vegan dishes, Waiters speak English
Cons: Small outside seating area, Serves sushi

Understaffed but delicious - Edit
The food here is lovely. I had a tofu pad Thai, vegetable tempura and some gyozas. The menu was clearly labelled with vegan options and there was a decent selection of these. The portion sizes were good. The only issue was that they had 2 waiting staff serving the whole restaurant and outside (around 15 tables). This meant service could take a while.

A little piece of Asia right here in the south of France - Edit
As a vegan whose favourite cuisine is south east Asian, this place comes as close to Vietnamese/Thai street/cafe food that I’ve found in France.
Read moreVery reasonable prices, considering the location, which is opposite the Yachting Marina in Antibes.
As a regular at Bangkok cafe, I can recommend the tofu pad Thai and the Bo Bun; really authentic and delicious.
Vegan sushi is also available, as well as nearly all noodle dishes can be veganised.
When I enquired about the Thai curries, the chef informed me that, sadly, they all contained shrimp paste as they are all pre made, so sadly, they are off the menu for us vegans. Hopefully this may change though, as more vegetarians and vegans are now eating here.
We noticed the table service got better last year, when a new employee, a man called Nandou, started working there. He’s friendly, polite and it’s always a pleasure to eat there when he’s working. He will also answer any questions you have about the dishes, as he speaks excellent English.
See you again soon Bangkok cafe!
Pros: Very reasonable prices, Pad Thai is incredible , lots of vegan options
Cons: curry's - all contain shrimp paste

Quick delicious food - Edit
But menu is misleading! Pad Thai with veggies (marked as vegan) is vegan, but pad Thai with tofu (marked as vegan) comes with eggs?? Confusing! Service was very quick and Food tasted great! But fix that menu!

Tasty and relatively cheap - Edit
Great place to go of you're with a bunch of people with varied diets. Can ask for menu items like pad Thai to be made vegan. Could be better if they had more staff as sometimes it's slow but that's totally understandable as all tables are usually full 😊

Our local favourite - Edit
We eat here or order take away all the time. Every dish we have tried is delicious and the staff are so lovely. The in-house menu is not great because it doesn’t contain half the vegan choices they do (which are all listed on UberEats etc) & theres some veggie/vegan mix up on all menus so they do need to sort that! We love the satay tofu, gyozas, tofu bobun, red curry, green curry, and massala chips!

Wow! A big part of the menu can be made vegan and they have several types of plant milk for drinks. I tried bubble tea for the first time, which was a weird but funny experience. Recommended!

Great new health cafe with plenty of outdoor seating - Edit
I accidentally stumbled across this cafe, but attracted to their Vegan marked menu and earthy cafe vibe, I couldn't resist taking a closer look. The menu is riddled with a few well-marked vegan options and some additional dishes which can be veganized upon request. Just mention you're vegan, and you're good to go. The green smoothie, smoothie bowl, and tapioca pudding was delicious. I also returned to try the Buddha Bowl which didn't disappoint. I particularly liked their hand-crafted exotic cocktails which makes this cafe an ideal lunch or happy hour spot with friends. The staff are very friendly, some are vegetarian with a good knowledge of vegan needs, and speak English. The owner is lovely and happy to welcome vegans. Hope to try the curry next time, it looked amazing.
