Really good vegan options

Korean fusion, with vegan options for pretty much everything. I enjoyed my food, and so did my non-veg friend. There is seating indoors and outdoors.

Pros: Good vegan options

Tasty!

Fast and friendly, we liked it. I enjoyed the kimchi so much that I got another serving for at home!

Messed up our order

Unfortunately I need to give this place a pretty low rating because they messed up my order (I tried ordering the Bibim box without eggs but got eggs). Probably because this place is super busy - we waited around half an hour for our takeaway on a Sunday evening.

Upon asking, they reassured us that both the mandu and gochu mayo were vegan. There's no vegan labels on the menu, just a little sign that says that everything can be made vegan.

You get a lot of food for little money. The quality of the food is okay for the price. They put a lot of soy meat into the bibim box, which I really appreciated.

(I took some pictures without the egg for my own phone gallery. My order accidentally included a sunny side up.)

Delicious junk food

Crazy flavors and very satisfying.
I sometimes get belly pain from the fat and salt I guess but it doesn't stop me from coming back :D

Also nice that you can bring this food to the bar next door.

Pros: Super tasty

Cons: I think it's a bit too expensive for what it is

Good vegan options

Small Korean eatery with clearly labelled vegan options! Soy meat was pretty good, and big portions for a good price.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options, Mock meat , Good portions

Missing flavor

I had the vegan kimchi bowl and kimchi fries that I shared with a friend. Both came with soymeat that tasted like nothing. No seasoning whatsoever. Also the sauce which should accompany the bowl was meh. I ordered my meal to be spicy but I it lacked flavor completely. My friend who ordered the bowl with beef also complained about no flavors.

Pros: Everything can be made vegan, Huge portions

Cons: Not much flavor, Very small, Unorganized

Decent vegan options

I visited Ban Ban Kitchen a few days ago and enjoyed their Bibimbox (Bibimbop, large portion) and shared some of the kimchi fries with my husband. We both thought the Bibimbox could have been a little more flavourful, but it was filling and definitely a decent option for the price. The kimchi fries were actually packed with flavour and very tasty, but unfortunately they were so salty that we couldn't finish them even though we were sharing (which is very rare for us!). All in all I'm grateful Ban Ban offers vegan options, but I'd probably opt to go to one of the other restaurants in the area rather than going back.

For locals and people travelling with their dogs, please note that Ban Ban Kitchen is dog friendly :)

Pros: Dog friendly, Vegan korean food options, Good price for portion

Cons: Not as flavourful as could be, Fries were so overly salty

The vegan bibimbap is delicious and inexpensive. Add the vegan mandu and some kimchi fries.

Nice vegan-friendly place

I went there to have a quick meal and it was quite good. I had a vegan bi bim box and the portion was really huge!
The tofu was not out of this world, but still a good place to go with non-vegan or vegan friends. make sure you ask for vegan and not vegetarian if you're vegan :)

Pros: quick, huge portion

Cons: not so many seats, lack of spices
