Great breakfast! - Edit
Really enjoyed the breakfast here - the scrambled tofu was great. The coconut soy wrap was delicious but a bit too spicy for me!

Lovely, freshly cooked kebabs. My partner and I tried the tandoori and gyro style options. The chips were great and everything was reasonably priced. Very impressed.

I’ve been wanting to try the food here for a while and finally got around to it. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I had the coconut kebab loaded fries and my partner had the shawarma kebab with sriracha fries. We also shared a portion of the battered sausages. The food was beautifully fresh and tasty. Really good flavours. Will definitely be back for more! I was just disappointed that i didn’t order 5 more portions of the battered sausages to take home!

THE BEST BATTERED SAUSAGES, THEY DESERVES CAPITAL LETTERS! - Edit
Very relaxed cafe type place, offering 3 different naan wraps (coconut wasn't available when we visited), a small selection of sides and a few desserts. We had a Lebanese and Greek wrap filled with fresh ingredients and with the right amount in, making it easy to eat. The naans were soooo fluffy and fresh. We also had fries and cauli wings, which were both fine. The pinnacle of the meal were the battered sausages, which blew my mind. They were as near to chip shop battered sausages as I'd had tasted. I thought all of the food was reasonably priced also.

The "meat" is great and even though the loaded fries were £8 it was very filling.

Tasty loaded fries! - Edit
Used to be a stall at festival but is now permanent on King Street and fully vegan. Went there on a Sunday for a light lunch. If you're not too hungry, I recommend sharing the loaded fries as the portion is big! The BBQ chikn was very good, although quite sweet. Staff was friendly and checked on us whilst we were eating. Even though the place is quite small, lots of plants, light and the clean wooden furniture make it cosy. We had the Karma cola sugar free which tasted a bit too much like Pepsi for me. We didn't try the desserts. There is a juice and smoothie place right next door. Will be back!

Great street food - Edit
I came across Bamboo Street Food at the vegan campout at Stanford Hall. I had the Coconut Tandoori Naan. It was very tasty, the Tandoori soya strips had a great taste and texture. If I was at the festival for more than one day I would have definitely worked my way through their selection of food. I was charged £9 though, which was quite expensive, I saw a post from three weeks ago where the same thing was £7!

Amazing schwarma kebab! - Edit
I got to try the bamboo street food at their vendor at one of the vegan markets! Massive queue so I was intrigued! Definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend the Lebanese schwarma! I’ve attached the menu you they had to offer at the market but visit their website/restaurant for a bigger menu!

Also now a permanent place! The staff were lovely, the food is amazing. I had the loaded fries (and I’m still dreaming over them) and then the cauliflower bites and my friend had the gyro. We were both so full afterwards but would totally recommend!

Fresh take on vegan fast food - Edit
I have only ever ordered from Bamboo Street Food on deliveroo/UberEats whilst at University but can honestly say it's one of my favourite takeaways! So nice to have a change in the remits of vegan fast food. As much as I love burgers and pizza, kebabs also work!
Read moreThe only thing I wasn't keen on was the milkshakes, which I think were made from avocado. But other than that, no complaints! 100% recommended.
