NOT a must - but a option - Edit
In my opinion it's not a must, but a good option in case you're hungry 🤷

Good vegan options - Edit
Vegan burgle and falafel bagel are so good and many breakfast options can be made vegan by swapping meat or egg with a hash brown

extremely limited options, but a must try! - Edit
Disclaimer: there are extremely limited options available. That being said, the smashed burger burgel was one of the best things I ever had and it’s a must try in my book. You get a smashed burger with vegan cheese (make sure you tell them you want the vegan cheese) in a bagel (the usual brioche one is not vegan, but there are multiple options that are) and a deep fried pickle, which is weirdly tasty. Didn’t take a picture unfortunately.

Have you got the balls? - Edit
A few vegan bagel options. We had the Impossible Pattie bagel with cheese and pickles and the falafel and hummus one. Looking at 50 NZ bucks for the two bagels with coffees! A good find considering there are no completely vegan or vegetarian places in Queenstown.

Great Bagles, A must try - Edit
I had BLT with cheese, avo, etc. on a sesame bagel (vegan). They have many bagel options. It was super delicious. Never knew bagels taste that good. Great first experience trying a bagel.

Happy with vegan falafel bagel - Edit
Staff were a little unhelpful with discussing vegan options, first saying I could swap anything but then when I wanted to swap 2 things in an existing bagel they said it was too many 😒
Read moreSettled on the falafel bagel (one of 2 vegan options listed) and it was actually really tasty.
Coffee OK.
Would give a 3.5 if I could.
Pros: Falafel bagel , Atmosphere is pretty good , Barista was friendly
Cons: Person who served me unhelpful, Not clear on vegan options or limits

OK bagel - Edit
Got the impossible burger bagel thing... Tasted OK but quite unhealthy and oily - would've been nice if they'd thrown in a tomato or cucumber or something fresh just to balance it out. Not really many other options.
Read morePros: Impossible patty is always impressive, Bagel tasted all right
Cons: Wasn't very fresh feeling, Toilet is a bit of a walk away and you need a key

Delicious bagel/burger - Edit
We got the impossible burger - to make it vegan it comes in a bagel rather than a bun. It was really yummy, a good size (I couldn’t finish it at once) and came with a delicious fried pickle. I’d definitely go again. #Veganuary

Fresh bagels and a fun PLT - Edit
As recommended, grabbed the BLT and subbed for a hash brown instead of bacon on a rosemary bagel. The bagel was super fresh and the hash was really good with the tomato, lettuce, and vegan mayo. Coffee came with a donut hole which I don’t think was vegan. You may want to ask!

Delicious and affordable Breaky - Edit
Nice atmosphere and knowledgeable, helpful staff. I asked for a vegan breaky bagel, staff said any bagel can be made vegan by swapping meat for a hashbrown (no extra cost). I had BLGT.

Amazing!!! - Edit
Skip the line for Fergburger and just come get a vegan burger at Balls and Bangles! I got the Vegan Cheese Burgel which is the impossible burger, vegan cheese, pickles, pickled onions, and yummy sauce. I picked the rosemary sea salt bagel. This was possibly the best vegan burger I've ever had! Super delicious! Also got an almond milk dirty Chai which was also really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

The falafel bagel was really good 😊 we asked for a vegan cheese bagel and they didn’t cook it properly leaving the cheese unmelted (not even warm) making it unpleasant to eat

Nice little breakfast - Edit
Good coffee, nice bagel, friendly staff.
Read moreLiked that you can choose the bagel base. Missed a whole wheat option, though.
If you order "The One" obviously the bacon will not be swapped for hash browns, it will just not be put on it (does not make thr bagel cheaper).
Seem to have recently moved, location quite a construction site feel to it.
It's Queenstown, prices are accordingly.

The only reason for this place not being good enough is because there are not vegan donuts. Had the Cheese Burgel and it was great.

Yum! - Edit
Lots of vegan options here. I had the Cheese Burgle and got to choose a bagel to have it on instead of a bun which was a bonus in my eyes. The aioli that comes with the fries is vegan too. Lovely service.
