Avo bagel was absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend. Coffee was nice (oat latte) and the Carrot Cake was tasty. Servers thankfully spoke English better than I speak French!

Had a good experience here. The staff was extremely friendly. I ordered the daily plate, which was a Tempeh Bowl. It was good with fresh ingredients but I’d say the bowl could have been improved. The portion of tempeh with BBQ flavoring was extremely small. Also, there wasn’t any sauce, just plain raw veggies. They provided a container of soy sauce vinaigrette but I think a little more effort could have been put into the sauce, like a sesame sauce or something.

There is a saying about France: it's a great country, but it's a shame the French live there. That's because they always speak French and expect everyone else to speak French even if they're tourists. And it's because a good part of the reviews of restaurants in Bordeaux are in French. So here's the English one!
Read more"Bali Bowls" is located in the city centre, close to the river boulevard. Even if you have to walk a bit, it's most likely to be a nice walk. The restaurant is exactly where Apple Maps / Google Maps will drop you off. The menu is in French, but the title of every dish is in English. Also, during my visit the staff was happy to speak French and explain the items on the menu.
I opted for the special of the day, being a bowl of noodles, tempeh and vegetables. Even though it is the "special" meal recommended by the waiter, I found it rather simple. I could cook this at home and I'm a pretty lousy cook. On the other hand: the combination of ingredients works very well, the quality of the ingredients seems to be okay and the presentation is good. So I had a good meal!
Bali Bowls also offers sandwiches, smoothies and sweets. I tried the "ace" fruit and vegetable drink (orange, ginger, carrot and more) which was tasty. So there you go: an English review for a recommendable vegan place in Bordeaux.
Pros: nice atmosphere, vegan in Bordeaux!, good variety
Cons: rather simple food, a tad on a pricy side

Super nice staff, good healthy options - Edit
I was craving whole foods after a run today - my body couldn’t handle more bread/carbs - was so happy when I stumbled on Bali Bowls. Had lots of good açaí bowl options, smoothies, and other savory bowls. Highly recommend finishing the meal with a brownie. Very nice owner/server who cares about ethical food.

Bali Bowls is located in a lively and pleasant neighborhood. It offers fresh, healthy and tasty dishes. I tried their hotdog with charcoal bread, avocado toast and chai. Everything was very good (the avocado toast can be a little small if you're very hungry) and fresh, and the setting makes you feel like you're on vacation no matter how small the place is. I'll be back without hesitation.

100% vegan. Bright and inviting space. Food super fresh and inventive. Really helpful staff -happy to take the time to explain dishes in English. Best ever vegan chocolate mousse and chocolate brownie. Amazing nasi goreng lots of flavour. Don't hesitate get there as soon as you can.
