Omg! Best Bean Burger EVER!!!! - Edit
My hubby had the TALT & I ate the SteveO. The TALT was delicious. Tempeh was so yummy. The SteveO had a homemade bean burger for the bar. It was truly the best bean burger I have ever had, & as a vegan, I've had a lot. The whole meal was delicious. Definitely worth the stop. I wish I had taken pictures but I ate everything so quickly. After the first taste, I didn't want to put it down. I wish this app allowed me to give them 5 stars!

Cozy intimate atmosphere, great for omni family members. Not many vegan options but what they have is tasty. The bakery items are really good but are out of stock often.

Good effort on vegan options, Hummus and veggies were great, Tempeh was good however the bean burger literally fell apart, if you like it like mash then will be good for you. But if you want it to stay together like a burger i would avoid. No vegan desserts at all and the hot chocolate is not vegan but they do offer plant milks for coffees and have various herbal teas.

Went here for a second time as its local to where family live in Florida, have changed to 4 stars from 3 as has much improved ! More Vegan options including a curry and can also sub burgers for impossible burger 👏 they also have 2 Vegan desserts 🥳 they had none left but they sounded amazing ! Oatmeal pie and a chocolate one.
Visited again twice this week, had the oatmeal pie vegan option dessert, really good ! Big portion. Also had the tempeh TLT but changed the bread to nan bread (the one they put with the vegan curry option) made my own like mini little wraps.. 👌👌
Also had the sprouts as a side and asparagus as a side, both are so tasty 👌
Staff are so friendly and accommodating ! They will change things for you if you ask.

Best Vegan Burger in Florida - Edit
BakeChop is a sweet little restaurant in the heart of downtown Deland Fl. A little gem with an amazing atmosphere to include indoor or outdoor dining. Off of New York Ave on Artisan Alley. Although not a full vegan restaurant, they have a substantial selection of vegan and vegetarian options. I'd like to point out that their food is organic and homemade. Try the Stevo vegan burger it's out of this world. Slopy and over the top delicious. Salad that radiates fresh and deliciousness in every bit. Then there's the sweet potato fries, oh my. Yummy!!

Delicious Vegan and Veg options - Edit
This is one of my favorite places in downtown DeLand. They have both vegetarian and vegan options so it’s friendly to all. They also have some nice seasonal sides and appetizers that always include a vegan version. It’s definitely a good option when eating in mixed dietary company and has a nice cozy atmosphere.

Not much to eat for real vegans.. - Edit
Some of the items listed as vegan are not vegan, the restaurant uses a shared frier for everything. When I told the waitress that this isn't vegan nor vegetarian she retorted rudely saying that every one is different, still doesn't make it ok.
