Vegan options in Green River - Edit
This particular area out West is largely a food desert for vegans.
Read moreBut when we told the owners of this establishment we were vegan, they offered to veganize several menu items. They made us two vegan versions of the carnitas: one with corn and sweet potatoes, the other with beans and rice. We also had tortilla chips with fresh, housemade salsa.
In addition, their chef -when he heard we were vegan - said he would like to offer more options for vegetarian customers, asked us if we had any recipes or suggestions as to vegan items he might add to the menu!
We were also able to dine inside with our pup.
