Small portions, left hungry - Edit
Found the location easily, walked from CBD. Scruffy and noisy were our first impressions but we were feeling hungry so stayed. Staff were friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. Unfortunately the portions were too small. Taste was ok but food was warm rather than hot.

Delicious! - Edit
We had the chargrilled corn, quesadillas, confit mushrooms and the brûlée. A really nice meal for two. Simple ingredients cooked delicately for maximum flavour. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends. We didn’t get the cauliflower but it smelled AMAZING and I’d love to try it next time.

The mushrooms were amazing!! - Edit
LOVED the mushroom dish! The cauli dish and the corn cobs were also delicious. Shame about the chickpeas dish and corn creme brûlée. I wish I could say that everything was good! Good atmosphere though.

Tiny meal ! A wasted journey - Edit
I was impressed by the reviews here so I made a point of going to this place...which was hard to find as they barely have any indication outside as to who they are, and the Google map pin at HC is wrongly positioned - it's much nearer to Elizabeth Street. Unfortunately it really was not worth the trip.
Read moreI ordered a Quesadilla expecting it to be somewhere between side plate and dinner plate in size. It turned out to be the size of a saucer ! It was very tasty but the size was a joke and a rip-off at $12 with about 50c worth of ingredients. They also charged $10 for a local beer which is more than you pay at many top hotel bars.
Pros: The tiny portion was tasty
Cons: Tiny meal, Expensive for what you get

Tasty food, just took a little while - Edit
I came here before going to see a play so I knew I had to leave at a certain time. I was by myself so I just ordered two of the small plates. The tostada and a special taco which had deep fried eggplant. I probably would have ordered another small plate once I had seen what the serving sizes were like but I ran out of time. Both of the dishes, particularly the tostada with peas were full of flavour. It would be good to come here with more people to try a few more of the dishes. It took a while for my dishes to come out. The staff were very attentive though and went and checked for me.

Best meal in Sydney! - Edit
On a 10 day trip, this was my best meal in Sydney. I ordered two small plates, and then couldn’t resist ordering two more just so I could sample more of the menu. I didn’t have a reservation, but as it was only me, they found me a seat in a back corner along the wall... better to have a reservation.

Tasty and original menu - Edit
This all vegan Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant has very good dishes, very original and inventive (such as an Asian-mushroom toastada or vegan churros with coconut cream). The beer is quite good too.

Great Mexican fusion food - Edit
I really enjoyed my dinner here. The menu is small but everything I tried was delicious. I had a chocolate dessert and the chef came out to ask me how it was as it was a new creation which he was trying to get feedback on. Good service.

worth a visit - go early! - Edit
It's always reassuring to be greeted with 'you know this is all vegan?'. There were plenty of choices on the menu. We opted for the broccolini (yum!) and black bean stew (also yum). We just st had room for the coconut/pineapple rice pudding (yum yum yum!). Staff were friendly and happy to advise, food was tasty if a little expensive. It wasn't too busy when we visited at 6pm on a Friday evening, but it was starting to get busy as we left. Go early or book to be on the safe side.

I really enjoyed the vibe of this place and the delicious food was a bonus! We had the cauliflower, zucchini taco, chipotle fries and the salad. Everything was so yummy and filled with umami flavour. Even my non vegan bf said it was the best vegan food he has ever had

Muy Soso - Edit
I had high hopes based on their Facebook reviews, however, this was a very disappointing meal.
Read moreAn overall lack of flavour and finesse, particularly with the stewed black beans. One main was ordered along with three sides and all were very average unfortunately.

Noisy, overpriced and average - Edit
We came here intending to have dinner and conversation, but this place was clearly designed for noisy socialising and celebrations. The menu was interesting, but portions were small and prices expensive. The Taco of the Week - roast broccoli and chilli taco with miso and almond cream - was the best thing we ate, and had a delicious savoury, smoky flavour, but was tiny at $8. The charred corn, also $8, was fine, but again small. The stewed black beans with shimeji mushrooms ($20) was OK but nothing special: the mushrooms were all in one lump and the ratio of (accompanying) tortillas to stew was too low. My companion ordered a cider for $13 and it came in a wine glass in a wine serving size. The positive about this restaurant was that the staff were polite, attentive and helpful. This is a particular type of dining experience, with aspects of bar atmosphere and fine-dining service. The food does not match the price, which seems to be more about the location.

OMG...delicious!! - Edit
Small but delicious entree dishes...so delicious we tried them all...twice! The taco of the week was to die for!! Small selection of mains of which the cauliflower in chinese pancakes was the winning dish...interestingly presented and scrumptious; blackbean and mushroom dish was tasty but quite heavy. The staff were just lovely too, attentive, friendly and helpful. And the music topped it off perfectly...great atmosphere, great place. A definite vegan favourite in Sydney.
