Excellent - Edit
My partner and I treated ourselves to this meal. We had the 8 course Exploration menu with additional (and optional) wine pairing. The meal theme was modern Hungarian with some international influences. It was delicious- I especially enjoyed the potato paprikash, the cauliflower soup and the jus on the aubergine main course was incredible. The service was impeccable and the presentation of all the dishes was beautiful. Staff were very nice, especially the sommelier. I found the portion size to be just right - not too filling but just enough. My partner really enjoyed his meal too, which was not vegan.

Out of this world 5* - Edit
Michelin starred restaurant with tasting menus and optional wine pairing.
Read moreVegan and vegetarian tasting menus available, 8 and 12 courses. They have the vegan menu printed so that’s their design consideration, but they make adaptations to include eggs / dairy if you want (I’m veggie not vegan).
Fantastic ambience, outstanding service and exquisite food. We are fortunate to have visited quite a few Michelin and 2 & 3 x AA Rosette restaurants, this is definitely in our top three. My other half eats everything and loved his standard meat / fish menu too. He did the research on this as a surprise for my 40th, and apparently it comes up as best Michelin for vegans / veggies in Budapest.
Every bite popped with flavour, it was all phenomenal.
I’d give it 5 stars if Happy Cow rating rules allowed it.
Pros: Dedicated vegan tasting menu , Outstanding service , Beautiful interior
Cons: No printed vegetarian menu

If you have the budget, do yourself a favour and visit this place! This is the best culinary experience I’ve ever had. Worth every penny. The service was out of this world as well. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Babel (although I of course wish they were fully vegan. Maybe one day ☺️🙌🏼) You could tell they had really put much effort and thought into the vegan menu. I really wish I could choose five stars, because they really do deserve five stars!
