This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We went there without ant expectations but they really delivered. The friendly staff and amazing and creative dishes make this place a must-see for every vegan/ vegetarian.

En mi segunda visita a Atenas no podía faltar a mi cita con este restaurante. Todo lo que he probado está muy rico y la comida es de calidad. Además te van sirviendo agua todo el rato, algo que agradece en una ciudad tan calurosa. La única pega es que echo de menos alguna opción más de postres veganos.

I think that Avocado is overpriced for the quality it offers, our meal was just OK I mean it's nothing creative or out of the ordinary. We had heard so much about it and we were kind of disappointed with what we tasted. You can definitely find around the area more inspiring places with fresh ideas.

Read moreThe thing that we ordered on multiple occasions was the crispy tofu dish. It comes in this magic delicious sauce and oh man, it's the best!
The mother earth spinach tart was....not great, didn't like the flavour or the texture. The same with the vibrant avocado pizza - it's so strange, the avocados were unripe and unpleasantly cold and hard with the pizza. The pizza base itself was fine.
The hummus avocado with pita bread was ok, nice pitas, but that's about it.

My first visit to Avocado was to grab a piece of vegan chocolate cake to go. It was decadent and took 2 days for me to finish. The second visit, my husband and I had a real dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed it. He ordered the meatball sandwich (it's vegetarian; he is not 100% veggie); I got their signature Avocado burger (veganized). That along with a salad and wine, we were set! I'm only giving it 4 stars because honestly, there are a couple other restaurants I'd pick OVER Avocado...not everyone can be #1. Right?😄Still, you can't go wrong here. Great atmosphere. Friendly folks. Yummy food. Later hours too!

I ate here three times during my short stay in Athens. The food and juices were amazing each time. Everything was delicious, some amazing recipes. There is a wide range of vegetarian and vegan meals. The juices are delicious too, especially Ginger Passion.

Small but friendly and cosy restaurant. Serves amazing food and it is somehow expensive. It worths a try, beware you might get addicted to their food, juices and sweets! You might need to reserve a spot beforehand ;-)

Good vegan dishes, expensive for what it is in my opinion, it's just really nice but as I could cook at home! Personal is great and care of you. No spectacular discovery but I leave with a good taste and smile from the shop!

Menu was huge, I couldn’t decide! Finally decided on a veggie burger with the wheat-free “bread”. It was tasty and not too salty like other places. Would definitely come back.

After eating our for three weeks in Athens, we finally had to Avocado and we were quite disappointed! In Athens terms it is such an expensive place and the food is not spectacular for the price. I had a salad with quinoa and rocket there was almost no rocket. Yet we really like falafel, it was delicious and the portion was big. But for the first time in Athens we paid that much money for food. Absolutely no need to go again!

Avocado is one of my favourite vegan restaurants in Athens. They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian meals, and unlike a lot of places (which are more ‘fast-food’ oriented) they offer a real restaurant experience. I had the burger (without cheese) which was great, but the real standout here was the tofu starter. It was one of the most flavourful dishes I have ever eaten in a restaurant and is an absolute must-try. Unfortunately their opening times prevented us from visiting more than once during our stay, but absolutely don’t miss stopping by.
