I mean, just looking at the photos of their pastries I can't wait to go back to Athens. It was so good that we ate there two days in a row (either for breakfast or brunch) and we were completely satisfied and so was my sister's bf who's known for his love for meat and dairy products.

Huge selection of pastries, so many that you can’t usually get vegan, which is great! But I found them quite dry. I got the babka, spinach pie, and cookie. The staff were also fighting with each other

Cookie doigh croissant was soooo tasty! Also got an almond croissant which was just as good (just not as unique), and a spinach pie that hit the spot for my vegan spanikopita cravings.
Wish I could have got more feom the sweet cabinet as it all looked amazing!
Pros: Fairly priced , Savoury and sweet options, Unique treats!

Both the savoury and sweet options are amazing. It gets incredibly busy and it’s not that obvious what to do when you get in. You’re best off getting food to takeaway unless you get there early.

The lady at the counter was pretty unfriendly, food was ok but not amazing and rather expensive for what we've got. Also waiting time until someone took our order and the food had arrived was way too long. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

We ordered mushroom open sandwich and seitan steak croissant and were not disappointed. Tried on of the round croissants with pistachio filling and it was amazing. Definitely worth a visit to eat in or take away if you are in the area.

Best Vegan Bakery in Athens - Edit
Holy Llama is a gorgeous cafe with an extensive range of food and beverages. This is my favourite vegan restaurant I visited while in Athens and would recommend it to everyone.
Read moreI ordered the matcha latte which was delicious and sweet. They also had charcoal and lavender lattes as well as regular coffees with plant-milk substitutes of course.
To eat, I had the caprese croissant. The croissant was buttery, flaky, and is the best vegan croissant I have ever tasted. The homemade pesto was delicious and I loved the nut-based cheese alternative to mozzarella.
If you're eating in, you take a seat and someone will come to serve you. You have to view the menu by scanning a QR code on a little cube. Then once viewed someone will come to your table to take your order.
I would love to go back here to try some of the viennoiseries ! (See photos!)

Cosy little place serving plant-based bakery goods and much more. The environment is lovely and everything I tried every time was delicious. The service though is anything but welcoming. On the last few visits, I just bought takeaway to avoid the unfriendly vibe. It's not worth visiting a place where I don't feel welcome however much I like the products so I won't be visiting again.

Ordered Holy Llama vía Wolt. We ordered a mushroom steak sandwich, wonder wheel pistachio, avocado toast, pain au chcolat, wonder wheel caramel, and a puff dog. Really enjoyed the desserts, especially the wonder wheel pistachio which had chocolate on it. The puff dog was good as well.
