Very good food

Really enjoyed my lunch at Avobar, the salad was lovely and a big portion too! Slightly pricey for a salad but that's to be expected in such a touristy area of London.

#Veganuary

Did not enjoy

Went thinking it would be a vegan haven but turned out to be an expensive and pretty bland meal. Had the vegan avo salad, very oily and not very flavoursome at all.

Pros: Vegan options for mains and dessert, Nice drinks

Cons: Very expensive and bad value, Bland food

Expensive, not that exciting choice

Pretty average food, and most of the vegan options were spicy/chilli-based which was not great for me. The price of the food is expensive for what you get. Feels kinda gimmicky if you love avocados but it doesn't really live up to expectations.

Great cocktails, average food

The various avocado cocktails are great - delicious and innovative. A genuine treat - assuming you can find a member of staff to take your order.

The food is so-so. The guacamole didn't taste any better than cheap supermarket stuff. The vegan tacos were very plain. The salads were OK. As others have said, a bit pricey - but that's central London.

I'd definitely stop in for a cocktail again, but I'd skip the food.

Pros: Good cocktail menu

Cons: Bland food, Lacklustre service

Very expensive!! I left hungry.

I went with my non vegan friend. Her dish was much better value for money than mine.
I ordered the salad with tofu and I could barely see the tofu! It was like a sprinkle of tofu lol
I ended up paying £18 for my dish (price of dish service). I left hungry and unsatisfied.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, very Instagram-able

Cons: Expensive , Not many vegan options, Small portions, very stingy helping of tofu

Very tasty but a bit expensive

Best avocado toast I’ve had, and the sourdough was really nice (I asked to substitute the sweet potato that the menu item came with). The decor in the restaurant itself was great. On the more expensive side and not so great if you don’t like avocado of course but otherwise would recommend.

Pros: Delicious food, Vegan friendly , Unique decor

Cons: Expensive

Too expensive

Chose this place as it catered for both meat eaters and vegans. Thought there would be good range of vegan options but there wasn’t. I had the smashed chilli avo and my friend had the eggs royale. The food tasted nice but the cost put me off visiting again. We both basically had light bites (avo on toast), 1 sweet potato fries (basically 6 chunky chips stacked on a plate), 1 coffee and 1 water and it came to over £40. It felt like the waiter was standing over us and was clearing our plates before we’d even finished our last mouthfuls which I hate.

Alright, but not impressive

They have options for vegan, vegetarian and meat eater. The food is okay, however, the price is very high compared to what you get. In conclusion, it’s alright but not impressive.

Pros: Vegan plant-based options

Cons: Expensive , Small portions, Could be a long queue

Great breakfast!

I always like to stop in at least once when I’m in London. The sweet potato avocado “toast” is delicious.

Cons: Expensive

Vegan and instagram friendly!

Such an aesthetic place and tastiest avocado I’ve had. Expensive but worth it for a treat!

Expensive!

Went with a flexitarian friend. We both had the avocado toast with add-ons. Really overpriced ie I paid £3 for a handful of sunblushed tomatoes! £10 for avocado toast - the only "novelty" was that the toast was sweet potato (in the end sourdough bread would have been nicer) and coconut labneh (delicious but it basically tasted like coconut butter)
Service was slow (even though we came at 10am on a Sunday) although staff was friendly.
I really don't recommend the sweet potato "chips". They were soft and some were barely cooked. The guac was good. Our juices were really tasty. We didn't try the desserts.
Not that many vegan options...!

Pros: Delicious juices, Lovely room with greenery, Friendly staff

Cons: Too expensive, Needs more vegan options, Slow service
