The most overpriced falafel we ever had, hipster place - Edit
We wanted to have dinner at Deichkind, but unfortunately it was fully booked. :-(
Read moreNot that many other options in town, so ended up here.
Nice modern building, very open, spacious, very hipster feel. The restaurant room more has a feeling of an upgraded cantine though.
When inquiring at the entrance, the waiter said they have many vegan options! That sounded good. But there were only 2 starters (salad and vegetable dish) and two mains (falafel and artichoc).
Inquired about the vegetable starter (wanted to know if I could get it as a main) but was not on offer (??).
I wanted to order a mocktail. But couldn't have one, because that had to be asked at the bar, on the other side of the building, replied the waiter. Uuhm???
(When we left, saw the people at another table being served 2 cockails, so ???).
So we both ordered the falafel. 26,50 €.
With yoghurt sauce, some pomegranate, onions and pine nuts.
We did get some bread while waiting. With butter. We asked for olive oil and got some. Which another waiter then suddenly took away before the dishes were served.
Waaaay overpriced, for what indeed seem to be storebought falafels (see previous review). Which were heavily in oil.
Service friendly although a bit erratic (eg not taking away excess cutlery etc), but that doesn't make up for the fact that this was soooo overpriced.
In doubt between 2 and 3 stars (bc the vegan options are clearly labelled), but in the end, it is really not worth 3 stars.

Best vegan option so far - Edit
Tried a few places in SPO, and this is the best we have found yet. Both the dipped salad and the Hot Pot Curry are very good. Also, super friendly staff!

Overpriced and just not good - Edit
The do have a lot of options but the quality is just really bad.
Read moreWe had the falafel “Schawarma” and the cauliflower. The cauliflower was pretty dry but ok, however the falafel were store bought which the waiter confirmed. To ask over 20€ for this is just ridiculous.
Pros: Many options
Cons: Expensive , Low quality food
