Cheap good menu - Edit
Set daily menu for 12 soles. Starter was a small salad and a soup, the "main" course had a seitan steak with rice and veggies or steak, rice, and beans. Quite tasty and big portions!

Good food, open nights, weekends, holidays, good price! - Edit
I ate here several times during December 2014, and then again on my next visit in 2024. It used to be called Aquarius but now the name is Ashkha. I thought the food was good and would recommend it to others. It seems to be traditional Peruvian food but with mock meat. It's a large place with lots of tables and several dining rooms.
Read moreThe lunch of the day currently costs 12 soles (April 2024) and comes with a lot of food. You get soup, salad, and the main plate (3 choices of the main plate if you don't get there too late). Plus a drink.
Only a few blocks from the main square, and they are open until 800pm during the week, and even open for lunch on Sunday! They were even open on Easter Sunday when I went in 2024.

Vegetarian restaurant serving salad, soup, main dish, juice and dessert. They had three option for main dish, we tried two and both were delicious! Everything for 11 soles. Local place, we didn’t see other tourists

The lady was very kind and she has a clear knowledge about vegan and vegetarian differences, she was happy to give extra service and the prices are really good she sais that the menus cost 9 soles. I was not there for the menu time but I ate a vegan tamal. I am really greatfull for the so kind attention.

Also, the daily menu of 9 soles lost its appetizer and dessert but not its (same ) price on Sunday.Upon inquiring I was told, " It's Sunday."

The hot dog came cut in pieces in a burger bun that was toasted too much and the fries were also not very good looking but fine.
The portion was a little small and they could at least made it a little bit better looking for the eye.
The cake was good.

My wife and I went here when we were in Arequipa recently. There were no vegan options available, even though it said they had some on their menu. Super disappointing.
