High quality food and wonderful service!

We were craving Indian food and were grateful to have come across this place that’s local to us. The internal decor is beautiful and worth mentioning. We were greeted promptly with a smile and were shown to our seats. Before sitting down we asked if there vegan options available and the lady, who I believe to be the owner, confidently said “yes”. She talked us through the vegetarian menu and advised us of what dishes could be made vegan, and she also added that in the near future there will be a separate vegan menu which will make ordering a lot easier; we look forward to this vegan menu! We ordered the aloo gobi, tadka dahl, saffron rice, and roti (wholemeal bread). The food came out in about 15 minutes, and steaming hot. Upon taking the first bite, I could tell already how much love goes into the food and how skilled their cooks are; it wasn’t just slapped together curries and reheated food that’s for sure. We ordered everything at medium spice level, and it was perfect for us, especially my wife who is not as chilli tolerant. You can literally taste each of the individual ingredients of the dish, which is really cool. E.g. I could very distinctively taste the cumin and garlic in the dal tadka. Also the roti was one of the fluffiest we’ve had at any restaurant, freshly baked in the tandoor (clay oven). Thank you for providing such a delicious food offering. I hope that with this review, more people will come to discover this gem of restaurant that does vegan Indian food so well. I hope that you continue to expand your vegan options and keep up the great service and food for years to come; and we look forward to that vegan menu! Also we can’t wait to bring our family and friends here to eat. Blessings!
