Large selection and really innovative and delicious - Edit
The large selection really surprised us. There were lots of options and everything was very innovative and what we had tasted great. The staff are super friendly and speak good English. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you want to eat something other than pizza and pasta. The location is also really nice.

They offer many vegan options and they are clearly marked in the menu. The staff is familiar with veganism, so just ask if you have any questions. The good thing is that they serve eveything im Tapas style sp it's possible to try a few things. 😎

Mi sono illuminata quando ho visto sulla lavagnetta "vegan friendly" e sono rimasta soddisfattissima, tante opzioni tra cui scegliere (forse l'unico a La Maddalena), tutto molto buono e i formaggi vegani spaziali! A riprova della qualità ci siamo spazzolati tutto prima di ricordarci di fare una foto, eheh!

Una delle pochissime, se non l’unica, opzione vegana sull’isola. È più un tapas bar, quindi se si vuole cenare diventa un po’ caro ma per un aperitivo o una cena leggera è perfetto.

Este año han añadido muchas más opciones veganas en el menú. Probamos la tabla de quesos, con los quesos de Veghu que son nuestros favoritos de Cerdeña, y los culurgiones, un plato típico. Todo muy rico!

Lo encontramos de casualidad y fue todo un acierto. Aunque el zumo es un poco caro (8€), la comida nos pareció bien de precio comparado con los precios del pueblo. Probamos una tabla de quesos veganos, y unos culurgionni con remolacha y cebolla pochada, muy rico. Tienen burritos, tacos, ensaladas de legumbres… Bien si quieres salir de la pasta-pizza

If you want cheesy free pizzas then you have many options available to you at other restaurants - however if you want truly inspired tapas creations then this is the place to come.. robust dishes, delicious plates.. enchanting flavours.. if you are looking for an interesting dining experience - then make sure you give Arutas a try.

Vegan cheese plate?! Amazing! I read about it in one of the previous reviews and couldn't stop thinking about it for a week. And finally we were here and ordered it ourselves. And it was amazing! Four different kind of vegan cheese. Each of them really tasty and just amazing to enjoy vegan cheese plate here on the island. (I have been vegan for a few years now so can't tell if the vegan cheese tastes like cheese but it was tasty and I liked the way it was presented.)

We loved the eggplant burrito and the vegan cheese taco is an absolutely must.
The traditional hand made Sardinias raviolis with onions were also great and the mixed plates nice if you want something more refreshing.
All in all a must go place! Amazing food, relaxing atmosphere with some music playing in the background and super nice and attentive waiters
Vegan items are clearly marked in the menu and the waiters know what vegan means. 5 stars for sure!

The menu cards were very clear on which dishes were vegan. We had the tacos, a burrito and a mixed platter with vegetables. The tacos and burrito were very tasty and the staff was friendly and fast.

Super tasty and cute little place! - Edit
Had a delicious bite here, a couple talks and some special Sardinian pasta. The folks working here are super sweet and even treated me to some of their special watermelon "tuna", it has a great vibe and is all around a lovely place to spend the evening!
