A vegetarian cafe in an arts & crafts store. Serves freshly house-made food, including lots of vegan savory & sweet dishes. Choose from hot samosas, pakoras with mint chutney, cheesy jacket potatoes, nutritious soups, and combos of curries and rice, some of which are vegan. Menu varies with seasons and availability of fresh ingredients. Also has curry meals, Bombay sandwiches, halwa puri in addition to tumblers of ginger chai or coffee.

Wonderful Vegetarian and Vegan cafe in Derby city centre! - Edit
Artcore is a lovely cafe that serves wonderful freshly made vegetarian dishes (with many vegan adaptions if you ask too). The vegan samosas are gorgeous, as are the homemade curry meals, Jacket potatoes and soups, plus lots of other delights. The staff are really friendly and are happy to make adjustments for us vegans (for instance, their lovely coleslaw is mixed on site and they will use vegan mayo if requested). There is also a fabulous handmade gift shop to browse there too. This is my regular go-to lunch stop off, and it's always a pleasure to visit!
