Good plov and vegetarian spread

Delicious vegetarian plov and yummy vegetarian spread with lots of vegetables. I also ordered their yogurt which was super creamy.

The staff understood what I meant with vegetarian and communication was straightforward. With outdoors seating you have a beautiful view of bibi khanum mosque.

Finally Vegan options in this meat obsessed country

Vegetarian options that can be made Vegan if asked (in my case twice) I got cream in the soup despite making it very clear that it wasn’t required. Anyways, happy with the bread and Borscht

Vegan & vegetarian options

They only had 2 vegan soups when I went, so I only took an arabic coffee and tea, but they usualy have more. Cute place with not a lot of meat.

Ok for vegetarians

I had french fries and a delicious vegetable borsht with beets, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. I asked to have it with sour cheese but they said it was already mixed so I had it anyway. There were a few other options available

Pros: Borscht

Cons: Fries were not very warm but big portion

Maybe it’s ok for vegetarians, but not sure about vegwns

I ordered scallion pancake because I’ve seen another vegan ordered too.

I don’t think it’s vegan, it looked like it was done with milk but unfortunately in Uzbekhistan whatever you ask they will lie to you so they make you feel “good” so I’m doubting here they could do anything vegan (except some boring tasteless veggies)

Tell them before you have severe allergy to all butter milks creams egg so you make sure they will recommend you something vegan

Great vegan food with a view

Located right next to Bibi-Chanum Mosque, I stumbled across a large sign outside advertising a vegetarian menu. I walked up to the staff and asked if the vegetarian menu contained vegan dishes or if some could be "veganized". The staff spoke little English only, but with my little Russian and the help of Google Translate, they understood what I wanted and which ingredients were not vegan.

I eventually ordered a salad, the veggie spread with bread as a side, and the scallion pancakes without the sour cream. All of it was very good and tasty. I did not find any traces of meat nor did I taste any meat or animal fat.

There were some irritating confusions but they did not impact the dishes' vegan quality. I had ordered half a bread only but was served an entire one, which was way too much for just one person. After I was served what I thought was my salad, the waiter came up and told me the salad was not available today and whether I wanted to order anything else instead. And although I had ordered the scallion pancakes without sour cream, a little pot of it was served on the plate with the pancakes. It was separate and I could avoid eating it, so I didn't mind.

NB: Food, tea and view were great, not so the facilities. These were manifestly unclean, so better take your restroom break somewhere else.

Pros: Several vegan options, Friendly and accommodating staff, Location

Cons: Restrooms unclean
