Cafe in garden centre - Edit
The bloke behind the counter was polite but had no idea which cake was vegan. Looked at us as if we were crazy when we asked if they had non dairy milk. We left.

Vegan gateaux! - Edit
Large cafe at the garden centre. Plenty of seating, plenty of parking.
Read moreWell worth calling in to enjoy coffee and a slice of lovely frosted cake supplied by Shelly Bakes Vegan Cakes, a local vegan baker.
Usually a choice of two and the flavours are wonderfully varied (Gateau flavours recently have been red velvet, carrot, choc chip cookie, raspberry & vanilla, caramel fudge, maple pecan, coconut lime, chocolate, lemon, mint choc chip, peanut butter chocolate. Also loaf cakes - lemon drizzle, cherry almond, orange poppyseed).
They have soya milk for tea or coffee.
Pros: Amazing cakes, Good coffee, Plenty of space in cafe and easy parking
