Looks like a canteen, but I'd wish canteen food was as tasty as this!
Read moreThe buffet was mainly vegetarian with one fish and one meat dish on a separate table, so no fear to pick the wrong one. It is spicy, but not "burning like hell", for me it was perfect.
On the menu are 12 vegetarian and 12 omnivore dishes plus same amount of starters, but I was advised to take the buffet as a la carte would take 20-30 minutes.
I got a separate plate with a delicious manchurian dish.
It looks like an indian family party (of a huge family), but I was nicely invited to come in.
As I live just next door (and now that I know the way) I will definitely go there more often.
Pros: Hot and tasty buffet at very reasonable price., Very friendly staff!
Cons: Absolutely no atmosphere.

I don't know why it's on here, because the only food they serve is their buffet and it's all made with butter and almost all of them with dairy or cream.

Some people have had difficulty finding the place. If you follow the instructions here and look at the photos I am posting with the review it should be straightforward getting there

Very friendly chef and owner, we were greeted and shown around.
Option to sit inside or on the patio that faces the ocean.
We showed up at about 12:30pm and were the only people there in the huge restaurant but by 1pm we were surrounded by about 50 Indians. Good sign when a lot of Indians show up as of course they know the spots to find good Indian food.
The building is older and it shows in places. Suitable but not a fancy environment.
On the buffet > pita chips, salad, yogurt, condiments, rice, three veggie mains, soup, roti, a meat main, ice cream and water to choose from.
As is traditional with me at a buffet, I took just a little bit of each dish to see what I would and wouldn’t like. The mains were too spicy for us. The chef said no problem and went into the kitchen returning with large portions of 4 mains without the spiciness!
WOW very impressive to be looked after so well.
Each dish was yummy! But we could not eat all of it because of the large portions he brought us.
We did not want to waste such delicious food.
Of course at a buffet, take away does not make sense, so I asked if I could pay extra and take away what was left rather than waste it.
When we went to pay, both the owner and chef told us there was no extra charge for the take away!! They really know how to treat their customers.
Very good experience!
If buffet is not your thing you can order lots of vegetarian food from the menu. (Omnivore food available as well)
