Serves meat, vegan options available. Espresso bar and wood fired pizza restaurant. Has vegan cheese. Open Mon-Wed 8:00am-6:00pm, Thu-Sat 8:00am-9:00pm, Sun 8:00am-6:00pm.
Expensive wood fired vegan pizza. Whilst the dough and wood fired taste is good, the pizza is average for what I paid ($26!). I ordered the nimbin vegan pizza and asked for no onion…however they left the onion on and removed the spinach and basil !?!?
It gets super busy, be prepared to wait for your order.
There is a pizza place further down the street I’ll try next time.
This place is great. Vegan pizza and pasta options are clearly labelled and VERY yummy. Would love to see a few more options in the future. The main problem is the price to add vegan cheese. Adding cheese and a GF base adds over $10 per pizza - we ordered 5 pizzas last week & the price in cheese alone was through the roof.
In summary, food is delicious - if you have money to spare😄
Both made GF to order, the pizza was perfectly balanced with baked pumpkin, spinach, red onion, mushroom, with a rich tomato sauce and generous amounts of vegan cheese melted on top. The flour was made from scratch and the pizza wood fired. The gnocchi was stand out. It was made vegan at the suggestion of the owner who was really accommodating, it had a rich fresh tomato sauce, tasty parcels of gnocchi with excellent delicious slice of eggplant over the top and generous amounts of vegan cheese melted on top. This dish was standout. The service was friendly and prompt, there were not many people in the restaurant. Highly recommended.
Although not entirely vegan, the staff all know vegan requirements. The Vegan pizza was a bit pricier than I'm used to, $25, but to be fair it's really big and they are generous with their toppings, which are fresh and tasty. The pizza base was thin and crispy, cooked in an authentic wood fire oven. The Acai bowl was really lovely, made with apple juice so it's dairy free. The wait was not long but it wasn't very busy when we were there. The service was really friendly too. I feel bad the other reviews aren't positive, it's a shame others have had bad experiences because we were really impressed😄
