Wonderful food and service. - Edit
We had a wonderful experience here.
Read moreThings we loved:
1. The food was the best we've eaten in our 2 weeks in South America. The hearts of palm ceviche and the tofu sticks were outstanding. I wanted to travel back in time just to eat my meal again.
2. The owner was delightful and engaged so positively with our one year old baby boy - he definitely had a little crush on her😄
3. The space itself was so lovely and open. Plus they were growing their own veggies in the garden. Gorgeous location.
Will definitely recommend to all our friends.

Good choice of vegan food - Edit
We had the milanese sandwich and the hamburger. Food was fairly OK but my quinoa burger fell apart into a sort of mush. It was still tasty though. There is no buffet so that descriptor in the happy cow listing is incorrect.

This venue hosts 3 different businesses. There is a lunch caterer, evening caterer and a vegan products shop.

Recomendado!

Great for dinner - Edit
There are a lot of great places for vegan Almuerzo, but here you can also have a delicious dinner. We ordered Ceviche (de Palmito) as an entry, and it was the BEST! Main dishes were also really good.

Location close to downtown, Good food - Edit
I had lunch buffet here for 34 Bs and it was good. Soup was OK but they had a gravy veg I could eat with rice, fritters, few vegs, and a good array of salads. While food taste was not mind-boggling, it wasn't bad either. If you are vegan or don't eat eggs/cheese, inquire and the staff will point out the items you can have.

Great Place - Edit
I really loved this place. The buffet price is currently 34 bs, but well worth it because of the sheer variety of food and amount you can eat. Includes drink, soup, salad, numerous mains, dessert, coffee/tea. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. Everything seemed to be vegan as well. Local crowd as this is away from the tourist zone.

Great lunch! - Edit
The buffet is 34 bolivianos which is about $5. This includes several types of dishes:salad, tempeh, quinoa, rice, steamed vegetables and a soup. I repeated because the food was so good. Additionally, there were two types of juice and dessert.

Décevant - Edit
Choix assez limité et surtout plats sans saveurs et pas vraiment cuisinés : la plupart des ingrédients sont simplement bouillis !

great place to eat! - Edit
Haven't been there this year yet, but if the price is still 32 bolivianos - yes that is expensive for a fixed lunch price by bolivian standards but that is less than $5 for all-you-can-eat food so to my mind, not bad at all. I've gone a dozen times probably in six years and never once did I see just rice and beans. There is always a soup, and then at least four dishes after that to choose form - usually fritters of some sort (check to see if vegan), at least one type of salad, and then there is always desert and tea/juice. The atmosphere is nice - it's an old home that's been turned into a restaurant and still retains a nice homey feeling. All the produce is from nearby Achocalla, just outside of La Paz, so it's fresh and local. There's always a good mix of foreigners and Bolivians, too. Right beneath the restaurant is a New Age bookstore.

Quaint Ambiance, Bit Pricey - Edit
The lunch at Armonía is now 32 Bolivianos, fairly expensive by Bolivian standards. Aside from that, it was great. It's located in a nice area (Sopocachi) with spacious tables and lots of sunlight. The restaurant has an attached book store. The food was delicious, several types of salad, a hot soup, and several hot plates for the segundo plato. Wheat bread and ~6 salsas/dressings were also available. A choice of two juices, coffee and mate for after the meal, and small desert were all included.

Nice buffet, atmosphere and the people who run it - Edit
This buffet had a mixture of Bolivian food (including quinoa, tostones, etc.) and some Bolivian-Chinese food. They had some rare juices (plus various mates, including mate de coca) that was free with the buffet. Great atmosphere--this restaurant is in an old house in a neighborhood with character. Most items were vegan. The only minus--the food was not the least bit spicy (somewhat bland), but then this is Bolivia and not India or Singapore! The price is currently 29 Bs for the all-you-can-eat buffet.

Nice place, over priced - Edit
We checked this place out the other day, and yes it is a bit out of the way, but not too hard to find. The restaurant is very nice, and the owner was very friendly. The food was all decent, but on the day that we went, the main was rice and beans. Don't get me wrong, I love rice and beans, but 24 bolivianos is very expensive for rice and beans!
Read moreThe only other comments that I have would be that the buffet was a lot smaller than we had expected, and the soup was delicious! Most things on the buffet were vegan.

An Oasis in the Meat-Frenzy of Bolivia! - Edit
Even though the hours are limited (12-2:30pm m-f) and the location is a titch hard to find, this place is well worth the effort! The man who runs it is super sweet and helpful, and at 24 bolivianos for all-you-can eat soup, salad, mains, desert and drinks, it really is a bargain! Almost everything was vegan (just ask and they will tell which few items are not), and the peanut soup was especially good. I wish I was in La Paz longer to go back more often!
