Disappointing experience - Edit
We were delighted to find this bakery but really disappointed with our experience. We went in and the staff weren't behind the counter, sitting chatting and basically ignored us so we left. We went back the next day and a very bored staff member served us. My latte was in a really cracked cup and I didn't feel comfortable drinking from it. My partner had a pistachio doughnut which he said was "quite nice" but not worth the money. Altogether a disappointment.

If you are in Barcelona you must try the doughnuts and cinnamon rolls from Areca bakery, they are amazing, even my non vegan boyfriend loves them!!!

They keep changing the ingredients for their doughnuts depending on the season, like now they have more of a Halloween theme with pumpkin spice and funny terror creatures.

Read moreI absolutely loved the banana cream pie donut. The banana-flavored cream filling was so light and fluffy. The crumble top was sweet and balanced it out well. The creme de Catalana donut was also great, though I felt that the top brulee crust could’ve been crispier and less sticky to the teeth.
Often times, vegan gourmet donuts can get really cakey and heavy. These were on the airy side, and I definitely recommend them!

This vegan patisserie offers a good selection of donuts and other related pastries. I particularly enjoyed the crema catalana and the doughnut panini with cheese and ham. The staff are friendly and it's a very convenient place to eat in or take away.

Stumbled on this place and wow, this must be the best doughnut I've ever had! I tried the ferrero rocher one and it was filled with a delicious nutella cream. Despite also being topped with chocolate it was not sickly sick, as I normally never manage a full doughnut - but I did this! Will be back😄

I just randomly stumbled across this place today but I love donuts and these donuts are delicious! I like that they're not sickly sweet and that the flavors are strong. Only downside is the price, almost €4 per donut is a lot.

I loved the Ferrero donut; the dough was spongy and the filling and topping not too sweet, but perfectly chocolatey and nutty. Also the matcha tasted delicious. To round the experience off, the gorgeous lady behind the counter served us warm-heartedly. And their brand mascot also put a smile on my face. #Veganuary

The Cookie Crumbles - Edit
Quite simply a sensational donut and cookie place. As usual I froze with indecision when asked to order. We went for a Nutella and praline donut and a mini glazed classic with coffee. I also introduced the staff member / owner to Happy Cow who promptly downloaded the App which made his day and mine too
