Serves meat, vegan options available. Italian restaurant offering vegan pasta dishes including spaghetti and penne. Staff is knowledgeable about vegan options. Open Mon-Sun 11:00-01:00.
There is nothing specialy vegan on the menu. Waiter did not know abot vegan options. So I had the grilled vegetables and french fries, the only thing on the menu, that was for sure vegan.
Great atmosphere, clean space; waiters are friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable about vegan options. One guy joked with us that their water is vegan, too. Very personable.
I asked about their noodles; learned that their spaghetti and penne are vegan (made without eggs, the sauces are a diff topic), the rest are not. Extremely knowledgeable.
I had their Spaghetti Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino, it was really nice. It's listed as an appetizer but I think that's the language barrier, it was def a full meal. (On that note, staff speaks German, their menu has German translations for everything as well.)
It was so good we came back the next day, I had their penne with pomodoro sauce, it sounded a little boring but my god, was it good. I want to go back and eat it again.
Their side of bbq-ed veggies is vegan too, their fries are not.
Listen here. I found out when I ordered fries and a different waiter came over to make sure I knew they weren't vegan since they're made with the same oil as their meat. He told me in a very sweet way. He could have easily ignored it (esp. since we would have paid more), but instead made the extra effort to ensure my comfort and conscious choice. I was flabbergasted.
They don't have a lot of naturally vegan choices (hence 4 stars), but they do have some. Perhaps you could also easily veganize others (ie. you ask them to make x without y), I haven't tried.
