Lovely place to stay - Edit
Beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. Vegan breakfast served between 08.30 & 10.00. Choice of sweet or savoury.

the magic getaway - Edit
Archontiko Angelou is a magic destination for a longer weekend/holiday, it's a retreat, safe haven from whatever harsh, loud, tiring things Your everyday life brings. Set in an old 19th century mansion surrounded by trees and flowers, it has a nice, calm, elegant yet unpretentious ambience to it.
Read moreIt's a great place for vegetarians and vegans - being the latter, for my breakfast I could chose from humus, a garlic spread, carrot cake, almond crackers, jams (go for the plum one - it rules!) - all of which were home made. Add to that olives, black and gren, tomatoes in olive oil and herbs, fruit salads and juices, chia desert, toasted bread, coffee, different teas and it all adds up to a wonderful start of the day of eating delicious food in a blissful, green garden.
The owner Marianna and her staff (the wonderful, smiling and charming Joanna) are really helpful - not only with things related to Your stay at her place but also with tips what to see on Leros, which beach to relax at and where to eat (Leros being a more traditional island isn't exactly a vegan heaven but if You put some effort, patience into Your search, rest assured, You will eat many a great things!).
Another great thing with Archontiko Angelou is that You know exactly what You're getting - the information about the place, the price options are clear and simple (in case of any questions Marianna answers quickly) - there are no bad surprises, just the nice ones.
