Vegan Food and Fellowship - Edit

The food is always delicious and 100% vegan! The volunteers and visitors are some of the most pleasant people in the Mobile, Alabama area! I try to attend every month.

Pros: Courteous staff, Scrumptious food, Pleasant and vibrant atmosphere

Cons: The dinners are only served once a month

Supper Club Style - Edit

Love going to the ARC Cafe. Quality, healthy food that is mostly organic. Great, nice people and the most unique atmosphere around, among the antiques! Good way to try vegan since it can be a hurdle at home, and bc vegan is so unavailable in most restaurants. I enjoyed trying cashew sour cream, something I aspire to make on my own.

Pros: Mostly organic , "Try before you buy", Vegan

Cons: Once a month, reservations required , Some speakers/material not G/PG rated, "Bull in a china shop" for toddlers/some kids

ARC Vegan Cafe - Edit

ok for the sake of full disclosure I'm involved in running this so I'm not totally unbiased :) But really the food is wonderful- fresh, organic lots of raw and delish vegan desserts- and just a an awesome growing community of compassionate peeps and budding activists. After dinner we show films everyone needs to see. This is quickly becoming a hub for veg*ns and anyone interested in creating a compassionate and sustainable world to connect. Oh also its a zero waste event-
