Je m'y rends toujours pour Pâques!! - Edit
Un des meilleurs chocolats de Paris et en plus vegan… le goût est extrêmement fin et pas du tout écœurant comme d’autres chocolats industriels. Un vrai bonheur. Le prix est justifié compte-tenu de la qualité

Friendly - Edit
The lovely woman at the till speaks a myriad of languages (Spanish, French and English). I really wanted to practice Spanish and she patiently told me about her favourite chocolates and let me slowly speak back.
Read moreI got some delicious chocolate to have over my trip. It is however, €9 a bar which seemed very steep as it’s not that big. Though you do pay a price for artisanal things
Pros: Friendly, Artisan

I bought some chocolate nuts as well as a small box of assorted chocolates. The staff are really nice and I really enjoyed the chocolate with cassis. They also have a few blocks of chocolate with different strengths.

Amazing - Edit
We heard this was the best chocolate in Paris and I would agree. It is a cute little shop but he makes it himself. If you like rich bittersweet smooth chocolate, this is the place to get it!!!

Wonderful chocolates made by a sweet chocolatier - Edit
Andrés is super knowledge and makes incredible chocolate. He buys beans from around the world and does the processing himself. The unique flavors really shine through. Yes it’s a bit pricy, but that’s just due to the care he puts into his work.

Vegan chocolatier wow! - Edit
Cozy little chocolate shop in the heart of Paris. I tried the chocolate mousse and hot chocolate here and a big box of the chocolates and several bars to take away. I had planned on saving the chocolate bars until my return home but ended up eating them all while on my ocean voyage. Amazing that the owner does everything himself from the relations with the bean growers to the fillings for the chocolates and truffles. Don't miss this while in Paris.

Fairly priced hot chocolate that was soooo delicious. It comes in a small portion, but it is so thick and rich it is honestly the perfect amount. Perfect on a cold winter day.

A Classic Paris Experience - Edit
The owner of this tiny yet extraordinary shop is enthusiastic to share his passion for chocolate. He works with grower cooperatives and individual growers with an eye to supporting the diversity of the world’s cacao cultivars. His chocolates are wonderful, but we left at least as excited about the experience as the treasures in our bag.

Charming and delicious! - Edit
Mum and I found this by accident on our way to Sacre-Cœur and we were so glad we did! The owner was so happy to have vegans in store and told us how they craft their chocolate and the importance of their direct communication with the workers which ensures it is fair trade. We had the most amazing hot chocolates (probably our only chance in Paris) and took away a box of mixed chocolates.

excellent vegan chocolate - Edit
Our experience here was great! The shop was tiny but had plenty of variety. You could tell that there was great attention given to the all of the product. The owner was very welcoming and offered samples of a majority of their stock but it only made making decisions harder. Everything was top quality, especially the truffles.....oh the truffles. Definitely worth the time and effort to stop by. Ditch the milk and ditch the crazy amount of sugar, with this kind of quality of flavor it's unnecessary.

Amazing vegan cholocate maker - Edit
I have nothing more to say than previous reviews. This place is small but offers very good artisanal chocolates made by a vegan and professional. The owner is very friendly, chooses himself the chocolate pods he will use and he produces very good pieces of chocolate. You can taste the differences between many of them, all have a lot of flavours. In summer, he also has ice cream wrapped with chocolate and nuts. Amazing! You must absolutely stop here.

I would like to thank the owner for the wonderful experience with this cute chocolate place. He was the only one at the store, and there were two customers already when I walked in. The guy immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first visit there. He offered a few samples. He's very patient. I was really happy to find this place and would love to get more next time.

This place was amazing! When my sister and I went we were greeted by guy that makes the chocolates. He treated us really well and gave us a lot of samples from the chocolate bars and truffles. He explained how they made there chocolates and the different cacao beans they use. It is the best chocolate we had ever tasted. We left with 38 pieces of chocolate, 3 bars, and 2 spreads. I will say that this is the best chocolate store in Paris!

Superb chocolates and passionate vegan owners - Edit
I visited Ara recently after it was recommended to me by two friends who raved about it. I had the pleasure of meeting Andres, who is one half of the team behind Ara. He and his wife are proper chocolatiers and they craft their chocolates from bean to bar (and they have bars, pralines, chocolate spread and more). It's all handmade with passion and serious craft. And the results are spectacular. One of the finest chocolates I've ever tasted. And they're both vegan. A must visit when in Paris
