Not worth it

I had the vegan option of the mushroom gnocchi. It seems that the vegan option means taking the cream sauce, parmesan, and parsley off the dish and not replacing it with anything so you're left with a pretty sad main dish for $30. Not worth it in my opinion. There is also an eggplant parma and veggie burger on offer as well as chips and steamed veg.

A pleasant surprise!

We had the vegan Parma and the veggie burger modified as vegan. Good stuff!

Pros: Plant based parma was delicious , Basic faux meat patty on the plant based burger , Staff had good knowledge

Vegan burger tasty!

We arrived in town hungry and looking for vegan/gf food and tried the burger. We were not disappointed. We also has a side of steamed veges which was nice.

Pros: Two vegan options however one was not available, Quick/friendly service

Cons: Limited vegan options , Not overly cheap

Pleasantly surprised

There was several vegan options however only one main that was gluten free - coconut lentil curry with rice. It was cooked to perfection, added a bowl of steamed vegetables to fill up! Really enjoyed it and light on my belly!

Pros: At least some vegan options in a country pub!, Friendly knowledgeable staff, Outdoor seating on a balcony

Cons: Vegan gf pizza was not good but nice they try, Fries are not gf or vegan
