Ik was verheugd om weer eens een broodje gyros te kunnen eten sinds ik al lange tijd vegetarisch eet. Prima broodje met lekkere frieten en tzatziki.

Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen aber war auch erst dieses Jahr da . Vielleicht ist die Qualität gestiegen. Preise okay - Mitte eben. Aber man kann nett sitzen, essen ist frisch, Portionen groß und war super lecker. Viel Vegane Auswahl. War wie ein kleiner Trip nach Griechenland. Und nicht zu ölig, wie sonst meine Erfahrung in vielen griechischen Restaurants war.

Decent vegan gyros - Edit
Centrally located Greek place offering some vegan options. Tried the vegan gyros plate and the soy gyros was well marinated, the fried potatoes are fresh unlike in most places where they use pre fried 🥔

Plate might be a bit expensive but it is a quite big portion, pita was good too and if I remember correctly gluten free.
Reading the other reviews I guess this place is still experimenting with vegan food.
Could have more vegan options as the Mediterranean cuisine has many plant based options like chickpea soup, giant beans with tomato sauce etc.

I tried the vegan pita gyros and it was amazing! Also tried the one made with cauliflower, definitely recommend it. The place is nice and in a very good location.

In my experience getting vegan greek food can be tricky! That's why I was happy to finally visit this place.
Read moreThe restaurant is quite big and has a nice, greek-inspired interior design. There is a vegetarian/vegan-menu in English with vegan options and allergens clearly specified. I had the vegan gyros and it was good but not great.
I am happy to have gone here but would probably not go back unless I am craving Greek food.

The vegan gyros barely resembles the street food I grew up having. Weird-tasting marinade for the soy chunks and coleslaw in the salad mix, which is unheard of. Very few vegan options overall, especially considering how vegan-friendly Greek cuisine can be. Why would the standard fries option come with Feta cheese on top? It's very uncommon in Greece and promotes further, unnecessary consumption of animal products.

Das Essen sieht gut aus, war jedoch meines Erachtens nicht wirklich überzeugend. Auf den Pommes wurde Feta/Schafskäse gestreut, obwohl die vegane Option bestellt wurde. Das Tzatziki wurde mit süßem Joghurt hergestellt, was man klar geschmeckt hat, zumal Tzatziki üblicherweise nicht süß schmecken sollte. Das Gyros war zwar gut gewürzt, allerdings würde ich mir kleinere, feinere Sojaschnetzel hierfür wünschen, um dem Original etwas näher zu kommen. Meiner Meinung nach, war das Essen die 12€ leider nicht Wert.

We had the vegan gyros. It comes with fries, vegan tzatziki and pita bread. I can absolutely recommend you going there. I'd give 5 stars if possible.
