Incredible view, food could be better - Edit
This restaurant has the most amazing view of Balaton within Tihany, as well as professional service, and the prices reflect that. The locally ground coffee is excellent (try the lavender coffee), and there’s a vast selection of desserts which include a few vegan desserts too, such as tapioca pudding or exotic carrot cake, was nice. We also had the quinoa salad which was refreshing, but it wasn’t very filling - I’d loved to have seen some tofu/tempeh/legumes/avocado/etc added to make it more nutritious.

Lovely surprise of vegan options - Edit
We popped in to Rege Cukrászda for a quick refreshment drink, not even thinking about having food.
Read moreHowever, upon reading through the menu I found they have 3 vegan options, which all sounded delicious and I went for the chickpea tortilla. Absolutely delicious!
They also have plant milk available, even coconut milk! (Usually I only find rice milk in cafes in this area.)
The service was fantastic, very attentive 10/10.
We set on the terrace and views are breathtaking.
I would give a 5 star rating, but HappyCow only allows that for fully vegan places.

Restaurant located next to the monastery. Has a beautiful view of Balaton. Offers three vegan options, the vegan toast was pretty good.
