Great portion size - Edit
This place had great service and massive portion sizing but the meal did give me a stomach bug. Also no tofu available when I visited.

meat in dish - Edit
ordered vegetable rice noodles and the first time they came out they had shrimp and some other meat in:( even though the portions of tofu are massive the portion of rice that comes with it is tiny and not enough to balance out all the tofu. but cheap and a different option than usual.

Big amount of tofu - Edit
It's really nice to find a place having tofu dishes as well as different veggie dishes and noodles. The flavours are there as well. We really like the spicy tofu.
Read moreThe portions are quite big which was a positive point.
The price is fair for the portions.
Service is fast but not the friendliest.

Pros: Good portions , Tasty tofu dish , Cheap price

Portions too big to finish - Edit
We were lucky enough to catch this place on a day where they had tofu, judging by the other HappyCow reviews. Maybe if the portions were a bit smaller, more people would be able to have some tofu 😅
Read moreWe didn't want just tofu so we ended up ordering two dishes, the other one being garlic broccoli. Both dishes were tasty but two hungry people were not enough to finish that mountain of food.
Pros: Tofu, Cheap enough , Huge portions
Cons: The place smelled a lot like chicken, There was a small chicken stand right in front

No tofu and no mushrooms - Edit
I’m trying to order some Chinese food and got excited to see they had tofu. But it got even worse. They don’t even have mushrooms.

Tofu! - Edit
As the other reviews have mentioned, the portions are massive. I ordered the "vegetarian tofu" dish which was fried tofu with some onions, peppers, and celery swimming in sauce and it came with a serving of white rice. That dish easily could have fed two people. I was happy to have found tofu in Nicaragua but there was just so much sauce, it was a bit overwhelming. Prices super reasonable, I think my gigantic dish was 180.

Great portions and flavour - Edit
We ate here a couple of times during our trip to Granada and loved it both times. We shared a few dishes, including a tofu dish (they must have just been out when the below person visited)... The dishes are flavourful, fresh and big portions! They have really affordable prices too. There is a 'vegetarian' section on the menu plus other veggie options throughout.

No Tofu in The Restaurant - Edit
We were so psyched to have a nice Asian meal with Tofu. Nope. No tofu. We had already ordered drinks so we had to down them so we could find a restaurant that could actually accommodate us. What a disappointment. Also the waitress took the liberty of removing her tip from the change she gave me back.

Biiig plates & tasty - Edit
Chinese restaurant with many vegan options and one of the veeery rare places that offers tofu 😊
Read moreThe fried noodles (110 C$) are huge, if you have an entry (e.g. a salad for 40 or 60 C$ depending on size), you can easily share one portion
Prices are absolute moderate, staff is nice and food is tasty. But not very healthy because it's quite oily, but who cares.😉

Good, cheap, large portion - Edit
Not the most amazing food we ever ate, but the price is right and the portions are good. Many people said it was so much food that they had 2-3 servings of leftovers! We ordered two dishes and two juices, rice was included and it was the perfect portion for one meal for my husband and I. We had the garlic broccoli and the veggie tofu. Both were tasty. I asked which juices were made with actual fruit and not concentrate, and the only option was granadilla, which was really delicious. It was nice to have something different, in a few months of travel we hadn’t had Chinese food. There seems to be a lot of Chinese restaurants in Granada. Total with tip was less than $10.

tasty food great portions - Edit
Oh wow! The portions here are so big I could hardly put a dent in it. Luckily they pack up your leftovers so basically I have 3 days worth of food for 250 cordobas. I ordered one of the veg dishes with a spicy tofu “side dish”. Two plates with a mountain of food arrived. Would definitely recommend if you want to get your money’s worth! 😄

TOFU! - Edit
Was in Granada for a few months and unfortunately only found their tofu towards the end of my stay. Very good tofu at a very good price, you should definitely check it out! Outside the restaurant entrance in the evenings they sell the tipical "frito" a mix of fried green and ripe platains with an acid salad on top. It is sold with meat or cheese but you can order it as is or with some gallo pinto (rice and beans)...you'll get a very typical nicaraguan cheap vegan meal!

good portions, good price, real Chinese food, good tofu, lots of options. so glad this place exists! PS the wok place a few blocks away is overpriced and tiny unimpressive portions, come here instead!

Cheap and good tofu - Edit
Ano Nuevo was my everyday lunch place when I stayed in Granada. Very good tofu with rice in several varieties for 100-140 cordobas. It's worth ordering an extra rice (only for 10 cordobas). They also have vegetable chow mein and other vegetable-based meals. I don't like restaurants in general as I often leave hungry, but here I got a decent portion! If you like tofu-based meals, this is your place.
