Delicious home cooked food with a conscience - Edit
This is a tranquil oasis serving mostly vegan street foods (there are some items with milk products on the menu). I had four different kinds of fritters with some bulgur and hummus which all were delicious. There were two dogs and two cats who I learned were rescued from abusive prior owners. As I was sipping my complimentary Turkish coffee after the meal the call to prayer echoed through the neighborhood and the cats and dogs appeared to be intently listening. I felt restorative respite all around.

Full vegan kitchen - Edit
Anything cooked in the kitchen is vegan so you can order comfortably, only a few mezes are vegetarian but they are in a package.

Delicious & affordable vegan fastfood - Edit
I have ordered from Ankara Falafelcisi several times and enjoyed the food each time. I had my orders delivered to my home, so I do not know what the atmosphere of the restaurant itself is like, but the delivery was fast, and the person delivering the food was very nice and polite. Each time I ordered food, they gave us some cat food to share with our local street cats, which I think is such a sweet gesture! They have a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian foods to choose from on their menu, and it is all very affordable -- typically less than 28 Turkish liras (currently about 3.5€) for a meal.
