When I moved to Minnesota years ago, I was anxious to meet other people who care about animals and start getting involved in activism and this was the right place to do so! They do protests and campaigns against local animal use, host all kinds of workshops (Vegan Nutrition, Vegan Meal Planning, Vegan on a Budget, Living as a Low Waste Vegan, Help! I'm Going Vegan", etc.) They also have free vegan mentors, a program for giving fur coats back to animals, tabling/outreach at local events and markets, and organize garbage clean ups, outdoor movie nights, and cooking contests.
