Great lunch service. - Edit
Vegetarian restaurant with vegan option. I had a nice soup and fresh mango smoothie. The veggies bowl is hot and fresh. Plus, they speak English and have good customer service.

Hidden gem - Edit
Initially I went there for breakfast, but they just started to serve lunch.
Read moreThe daily main was a dish with rice and baked vegetables. Didn't look that appealing, frankly (it had this colour palette of tame ecological food that is supposed to be very healthy but is a letdown as regards taste), but, in fact, tasted excellent!
After this pleasant surprise I took the soup of the day as well (vegan creamy tomato soup) that was served in an enamel cup. Yummy stuff.
Coffee was very good, too.
Funny thing, when I came, the café was empty - I was there only customer - but when lunch break started, Andy's Kitchen was simply overrun. For the next hour or so the queue wouldn't get smaller, even though the service was quick. However, about 90% of people didn't eat in but took their stuff out.
In the end I took a vegan bagel for my journey. Sadly, it wasn't very good. Way too dry. But I ate it hours later. It can very well be that it has to be eaten soon after preparation. So I only write it for the sake of completeness, I'd order it again without hesitation.
In conclusion: I'm very impressed how Andy's Kitchen is run. It's no chain or anything, they simply do excellent work that is properly appreciated. The chia puddings and stuff looked pretty tempting too. Now I'm sad, I didn't take more.
The owner is a winsome person, very friendly and accommodating. There was free herbal tea available very everybody, too.
In the end I paid strikingly little. The main dish, small soup, coffee, bagel and a lemonade, all together for less than 20 euro.

Bagel and dessert - Edit
We got the bagel set, included choice of a vegan/veggie or salmon bagel. Vegan choice was hummous and avo or carrot. This came with a smoothie and dessert - choice of chia pudding or chocolate mousse. Also could choose a baked muffin or cookie but this wasn’t vegan.
Read moreThe mousse was made with chickpea water from the hummous and was incredible.
All very tasty and tasted homemade.
Very friendly place too.
