Great Indian food - Edit
Delicious food. Their building was gutted from Hurricane Helene, so I don't I think they've reopened just yet, even though hours are posted here. Just went to their sister restaurant, Laila, and I think they're just about as good.

SO SO GOOD 😩 - Edit
Absolutely brilliant find in Asheville. Probably one of the best dining experiences we’ve had ever. Excellent service, beautiful luxe ambience, lovely bar menu, well-marked vegan food menu. I so appreciated not needing to be a sleuth and look for hidden dairy in my Indian food😅
Read moreAs for the food, it was a 10/10. We loved everything we ordered - the Gobi Manchurian starter (crispy, crunchy, sweet-and-sour perfection), the Ragda Patties (chaat supremacy), the Crispy Okra (YAASSSS!) and special mention for the Tofu-green peas curry - it was creamy, silky, flavorful and reminiscent of a paneer tikka masala in the best way.
Highly recommend.
Pros: This would be a great date night spot ✨

Fabulous! - Edit
I had a great meal here. It's a bit upscale for an Indian place which I enjoy. The drinks, soup, entree, desert, and service were all fantastic. It was also very clean.

Probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Asheville - Edit
Really good staples like bangain barta and chana masala. There's a tomato based curry with tofu and peas that's really good. Very high end white table cloth setting but the vegan/vegetarian options aren't actually that expensive for a restaurant in Asheville. Curries are filling and extra rice is free.

Excellent Indian food - Edit
This is an upscale Indian restaurant with many vegetarian and vegan options. The menu denotes vegan options with a V in addition to a separate vegetarian section. There are many choices including appetizers, entrees, and even dessert. They also serve cocktails, beer, and wine. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions.

You get what you pay for here. The food is on par with fine Indian restaurants in a major cities. They have a huge list of vegan options that are well marked along with gluten-free, non-dairy (but not vegan) and contains nuts.

There is a sweet & sour cauliflower appetizer that is delicious, it’s called the Gobi Manchurian. You can customize your spice level but from my experience this has been pretty inconsistent. Their vegan options are great but so far the okra curry dish is my favorite.
