So happy for this place!

We stumbled upon this place while strolling around and were so happy we did. We ended up going here two days in a row. The gelato was so creamy and delicious! There were more than enough vegan options!! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, too!

Vegan ice cream break

About half the gelatos on display were vegan, mostly fruit sorbets but also a delicious rich dark chocolate one.
Made a nice break during a hot afternoon walking the lanes.

Cons: Not all vegan

The best ice cream in Barcelona by far

Whilst the venue at Portaferrisa is quite small and not as good as the one along the Rambla, the ice cream is excellent.

The Italian gelato here is sublime, containing ingredients such as lemons from Sicily, basil from Genova and raspberries from Tuscany. Every sorbet is vegan and the flavours are changed now and then. Having tried most of the gelatoplaces in Barcelona as I lived here I can safely say that Amorino is the best.

The only drawbacks are that prices are high, even though it's worth it. Also, the lines aren't organised well and sometimes the staff is quite rude (not on the rambla as much though).

There isn't much to say other than if you like high quality Italian gourmet craftsmanship, you will not be disappointed.

Pros: Sublime flavour, Superb ingredients, Many vegan flavours that are changed

Cons: Very expensive, Occasionally rude staff (portaferrissa not rambla)
