Decisamente da visitare

Atmosfera familiare, personale gentile e cibo ottimo. Purtroppo le porzioni si sono ridotte di recente. 4 stelle solo per quello...

Pros: Moltissime opzioni vegane

Lunch and dinner on the same day here

We loved this place so much that we went for both lunch and dinner on the same day to Un Sorriso Integrale. We tried as many dishes as we could on both occasions (check out the photo descriptions) and none dissapointed. Delicios recipes and good prices

Good value

This place was a bit difficult to find down a small side street and through a gate, but I glad we did. The vegan risotto with pumpkin and mushrooms for 5 Euro was a generous and tatty portion. I’d also recommend the minestrone soup which was hearty and filling.
Vegan desserts were also on offer, a peach tart and a vegan chocolate fondant (lava cake) which were both yum!
The place was cosy, it service was slow.

Pros: Lots vegan options, Vegan deserts, Good value

Cons: Slow service, Only serve stove top coffee - no coffee machine

Awful experience

I wanted to enjoy a lovely vegan meal in Naples so I went all the way to the „sorriso integrale“.
I arrived before 3.00 pm, the webpage and fb stated the restaurant to be open until 4.00 pm.
When I came in and asked for a table one of the waiters told me I was too late and there was no food left. That was Not true!
I was sooo hungry that I begged him to offer me s.th.
Funny enough the other waiter, who was much more polite was able to offer me everything on the menu!
Anyhow I have never felt so unwanted in a restaurant before.
I had a vegan plate which was absolutely tasteless. I will never go there again.
I‘ve been there years ago which was a completly different experience.

Good Value & Very Tasty

I had the vegan risotto which was pretty tasty! I also had the spicy black olives which I did not find spicy, but very good none the less! I didn’t realize until I went inside to use the credit machine that there was a small little natural foods section of the restaurant where you could buy what looked like many of the products they use themselves in the restaurant. The bill was very inexpensive, even though we ordered quite a bit of food. Would definitely recommend sitting on the patio as it is beautiful and quiet at night despite its location. I wish I had tried the vegan chocolate cake as it looked incredible when I saw it at another table.

Pros: Lots of Vegan options, Inexpensive, Cute Patio

Cons: Hard to Find without looking for the gate

So wonderful - Saved my day

First: I was happy that someone suggested looking at the photo of the gate, I wouldn’t have found it otherwise!

I just spent one day in Naples while traveling through Italy and I hated it so much, I have no words. It was a very unpleasant day and not being able to find anything decent to eat wasn’t helping. All the vegan-/friendly places on happycow were either closed without notice or didn’t have any vegan options.

After searching for two hours I was about to give up but tried Amico Bio as the last place because it wasn’t too far to walk and - it was so amazing! The first clean, quiet, beautiful and nicely smelling place I’d seen all day with lovely staff that were very professional, caring and just perfect. There’s so much to choose from on the menu but the waiter recommended the Seitan scallops with lemon so I had those and they were very delicious. Finished the meal with the chocolate soufflé - pure heaven. This place really saved the day for me and is the only pleasant memory I‘m taking from Naples. Go there, please do, you won’t regret it.

Pros: So much to choose from, Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, Amazing staff

Cons: It’s in Naples

A relief from Naples chaos

Such a cute little restaurant where you can sit outside under fairy lights in a peaceful courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of the city. An absolute delight

Soooo good to have some interesting salads and fresh food after all these marinara pizzas and oily grilled veg.

We enjoyed it so much, we went twice!

Pros: Changing menu, Great value, Salad salad salad!

Cons: Slow / inattentive service

Simple and good

It's not easy to find. Look at the photos to see what the outer gate looks like. Otherwise you will never find it.

The food was nice and simple, bland and good. Lots of vegan options. Menu with English .

As all italian cheese is made with animal rennet, as far as I have understood , we ate vegan.

The waiters were all very helpful. We ate there twice while in Naples

Pros: Good vegan options

Cons: Not easy to find unless you know

Nice

This place is a little hidden but gets quite full in the evening. Is 100% vegetarian and has many vegan/gluten free options. We had the tofu wok with rice and fried seitan. Both were pretty good, but the best part was the chocolate soufflé. I highly recommend!

Very good restaurant

This place is tucked away in a little court on the right side of the square, so you might miss seeing it. The food is very good and healthy--not top notch, but everything was fine and tasty and healthy,

LOTS OF VEGAN OPTIONS

I ordered a Veggie & Tofu Wok Plate which came with yellow rice and a small salad and it was pretty damn good. Unfortunately my bf ordered a burger which only came as a patty and with a big salad. I think he imagined more like an "american style burger" but that‘s ok. Just the wrong dish to order there. Everything else was lovely.

Nice place

Nice place to have dinner in Naples. Dishes vary somewhat in quality. The antipasti were excellent, primi etc. great as well, but the secondi can be a hit-or-miss. My seitan kebab was mediocre, witn the seitan being very soft, and not very much taste. So I would recommend to avoid the secondi, there's plenty of other good stuff on the menu

Staff was very friendly and supportive.

Lovely place

We arrived at the moment that the chef was closing the kitchen. Even so, he prepared for us the dish of the day : Potatoe and spinach gratin, pumpkin, celery and orange salad. Delicious! My husband also ate a slice of apple pie.

Lovely evening meal

We had a wonderful three course meal here tonight - shared the vegan salami platter, I had the breadcrumbed seitan and salad for main, partner had lasagne, then we had vegan chocolate soufflé for desert. All delicious! Staff lovely and friendly if a little rushed off their feet by a busy evening. Very affordable meal with a bottle of wine with it. Lovely location in old town. Would return!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Lovely atmosphere, Friendly staff

Good vegetarian/vegan option in Naples

Stumbled on this restaurant, hidden in a corner of Piazza Bellini, when exploring Naples. Full vegetarian menu with many vegan dishes. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They also have biodynamic wines and other beverages. Many dishes feature tofu or seitan. For those who are looking for healthy food, be aware that many of the dishes are fried, and the tomato sauce was quite oily. On the upside, they do have salads, which you dress yourself. On the whole, the food was tasty and creative. Makes a nice change from the “pasta/pizza” cycle many vegetarians fall into here.

Pros: 100% vegetarian, Good location in historic Naples, Good value

Good food, good prices

We didn't try a lot of dishes because my girlfriend wasn't feeling well, but the ones we did were very nice, especially the bean soup.

The chocolate soufflé was nice, but not more.

Pros: Good food., Good service. , Good prices.

My favorite place in Naples

There are only few other restaurants that I have enjoyed as much as at Amico Bio. It's a gem in downtown Naples close to Piazza Dante.
First of all Amico Bio kinda saved me, since many other venue are closed during August, moreover it's opening times are great, since you can eat till very late.
As it is located in a patio by (often times very crowded) Piazza Bellini, it's easy to overlook. Whereas many restaurants nearby have long queues and waiting times to get a table, you'll always get a seat at Amico Bio (maybe not outside, but most certainly indoors).
They have an extensive (changing slightly daily) menu, that's about 70% vegan, whereas most of the remaining dishes can be made vegan as well (be sure to ask though, as it isn't always apparent from the description what's vegan and what isn't).
The staff is very friendly and knowledgable though and will gladly assist you with your order.
Once you have ordered, you'll get your food pretty quickly, even if there are many guests.
I ate there about five times and never was disappointed whatsoever.
Many dished come with fresh and tasty salad, really enjoyable. Try the seitan kebab, it's awesome! The marinated mushrooms and the baked potatoes (with rosemary) (both side dishes) were pretty convincing, too!
As far as I am concerned the only thing they could improve are maybe the desserts.
All in all everything is surprisingly inexpensive in my opinion.
Great venue to meet with friends and family.

Pros: high-quality ingredients, (rather) inexpensive, amazing staff and venue

Cons: desserts could be better

not great

Maybe the vegetarian options are more flavourful but our vegan meals were pretty bland. My boyfriend had the risotto which was tasteless and I had the salad which was a giant bowl of mostly iceberg lettuce (and £7.50!!) with some seiten, corn and tomato - no dressing or anything. Not impressed.

Cons: not tasty

bit confused

I just visited this place to ask if they have a shop, or sell food products and they didn't understand. I'd read in the description of this place that they have a food store

Can be hit and miss

It's not the only vegetarian restaurant in Naples anymore, so I adjusted my rating. Much of the food is lacking in flavour.

Situated in the old town of Naples, next to Piazza Bellini where you can have a drink or more afterwards with the student crowd, if you like.

The restaurant follows the standard Italian way of having dinner: antipasti, primo (pasta or rice or soup), secondo (fake meat) + contorno (vegetable side dish). Sometimes though they serve everything you order at the same time.

Food appears to be a hit+miss, once I had an extremely bland risotto and some seitan-dish al limone which was mostly drenched in oil and I couldn't even taste a hint of lemon. Another time a pasta dish and two contorni were very good.

Pros: Very centrally located, Nice vibe

Cons: Food can be bland

Good food

You have to go through a black gate to get to the place, the restaurant is cosy, the staff speak English and the food is delicious. When I went it was very busy and full with locals , so that is a good sign. would recommend.

nice place with good food

Nice restaurant, quiet, a bit hidden beside one of the main places in Naples. Easy to reach on foot and by underground (stop at Piazza Dante).
We had a tasty and satisfying vegan & organic dinner with 25€.
Although there are a variety of vegan dishes, I'd find this place perfect if they didn't offer dairy at all (since they are members of some animals' activists societies, this would be a perfectly coherent choice :-) ).

Pros: central, good food options

Cons: might be difficult to find the 1. time

nice veggie option

Un Sorriso is a nice veggie option in a city where pizza and pasta are kings.
The menu offers a pleasant diversity of vegetables and soy/seitan dishes.
Not particularly creative or exceptionally tasty, but good enough, with a pleasant atmosphere.
Location is amazing, right off the trendiest square of Naples, but still quiet and peaceful.
