Vegan-friendly eatery inside a hostel on the NW side of town - Edit
Strolled around and got one last glimpse of Puerto Natales before heading to the airport. Stepped into Amerindia, a hostel with a vegan-friendly menu, for lunch. The interior brings the outdoors in with exposed wooden ceilings propped up by two trunks near the center of the room that divide the front entrance from the dining area.
Read morePuerto Natales is an outpost for those trekking Patagonia and the stores carry everything. Same thing with the restaurant menus. At Amerindia, the sushi sits comfortably between the pizza and the croissant sandwich. The menu is convenient and functional, and when it has things you can eat, it’s very filling. Kept it light with potato celery soup, lentil patty salad, and fries on the side. Also has a good selection of local brews and pastries.

Este es un café con varias opciones vegetarianas y algunas veganas. La ensalada full veggie viene con queso vegano y falafel de lentejas, deliciosa. Ademas tiene opción de hamburguesa veggie (que puede ser adaptable a vegana)

Scrumptious vegan burger - Edit
This place has awesome chai lattes (I had mine made with rice milk - no sweetener needed!) and 4 different kinds of vegan burgers. I had the chickpea and my husband had the lentil/quinoa. We preferred the texture of the chickpea but both were very tasty. Very nice staff and spoke decent English.

Not actually Vegan Friendly - Edit
Went there because it said it had vegan options. On their menu they have four choices of burger that say Vegan. We ordered one and told her to put every topping that was vegan on it. She then told us the burgers labelled Vegan were not actually vegan. She wouldn't tell us why they weren't vegan. Just stated yeah, the menu is wrong none of these are vegan, we have no vegan options. They even have vegan with a big heart written on their wall. The one thing they had vegan was a brownie. So we got that, It was not good at all. Not sure why they advertise as vegan friendly but don't have vegan options. If you are vegan stay away! they are purposefully misleading us!!!

Great vegan burgers and brownie - Edit
They had enormous vegan burgers (4 different options for the patty!) with lots of toppings included, all for a very reasonable price in this town. Plus a good caffè latte with rice milk, and a yummy vegan brownie. The burger was so big I couldn’t finish it and so I took the brownie for later.

We really rated our burgers. Yummy and filling! Definitely a good option in Puerto Natales. We also had some great chai with almond milk. The burger bun has milk so the vegan burgers are served on a baguette which I actually think is better.

Great place with 4 vegan burgers at 8.400 pesos. They are huge and very good! Also have vegan brownie (have not tried), menu of the day (with meat, 8.200 pesos) and a small selection of cosmetics (pricey). However vegan choice really is limited to burgers, which are actually more of a sandwich.

Delicious vegan sandwiches / burgers, soya milk and choc brownie - Edit
There are 4 options of burger. The waitress explained that the burger bun has milk in it so the vegan version is with the baguette style bread, making it more of a sandwich. I had the chickpea one with all the trimmings (apart from the 2 non-vegan ones, the mayo and cheese!) and it was huge and delicious. The choc brownie with choc sauce was also really good and I had my first milk (soya) coffee since leaving BA.

Friendly staff but the food was pretty awful barely finished the seaweed burger was just a load of grain maybe bulgar with some seaweed in it but not like a burger just loose. Fortunately lots of ketchup added flavour.

Read moreWe've eaten here for dinner most nights of our stay in Puerto Natales. Its amazing, actual food, good food, THAT A VEGAN can eat :)
Fresh veggies, hearty portions, and the vegan/veggie burger is on point (many options, not just the "standard" veg mush patty burger).
The staff are very upbeat, and friendly. This has been consistent over the last few days - here every night after all.

The burgers are the star of the show here. They have 4 different vegan burgers. We got one blackbean/beet and one soy meat burger each time. They have lots of different veggie options to pile one (the verde sauce is great) and the burgers are fantastic. Definitely the best food we had in town. The burgers are huge thought, if you aren't really hungry you could easily get by with one burger and one soup for two people.
The vegan brownies are also great.

vegan options at many places in Chile have been bland. This place is anything but bland - I ate here three times over two days and tried almost everything. It's truly fantastic. This is also a good compromise as the meat eaters of the group loved the food here too.
