Lovely cafe - Edit
Lovely vegetarian cafe. They only have a few permanent vegan options on their menu - I think a hummus and tomato sandwich or a baked potato. But they regularly have vegan specials too. All of the meals come with a selection of different salads and it's really delicious and refreshing. The cafe is also very pretty and gets a lot of sunlight
Read morePros: Fresh, healthy and tasty food, Cute cafe area
Cons: Not many permanent menu items are vegan

Not much for vegans - Edit
As others have noted, not much here for vegans (which seems really odd). I had a very small but not cheap salad/hummus, which was ok but really not fantastic... no vegan puddings when I was in either. Also (I might be splitting hairs here) but all the herb teas were bags and not loose.... which is a shame (they were also pretty pricey). The staff are very nice but are quite disorganised and do not really seem to know what they are doing !
Read moreA reals shame, as I have wanted to support this café but been disappointed last few times I have been.
Pros: tables outside , ambience
Cons: not much for vegans, a bit grubby..., poor quality teas

Disappointing lack of vegan options - Edit
I was really disappointed that so few options were vegan, despite almost everything on the menu being really easy to make vegan. This was particularly strange considering all the pamphlets and newspaper articles recommending a vegan diet. They even charge 50p for oat milk. However the cauliflower curry I had was nice, albeit expensive.

Cons: Few vegan options , Service wasn't great , Vegan milk tax

These people know veggie food! - Edit
Although our original choices had run out, both our second choices were amazing! I chose chilli in a tortilla wrap (homemade) with salad, and that doesn't really describe the taste sensation that it was. Even the large slice of tomato on my plate was ripe, juicy and flavourful. These people know food!
Read moreMy husband had the quiche and couldn't believe how light and tasty it was. It came with a mixture of salads, curried noodles and coleslaw.
There was a large choice of desserts, but I didn't succumb, and a huge variety of cold drinks and teas.
It's a shame we don't live nearby because we would be visiting on a weekly basis, however it certainly was a highlight of our holiday in Norfolk.
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff , Absolutely delicious food, Fabulous surroundings
Cons: Hard to choose from the huge choice 😏

Awesome vegan food - Edit
Went for an impromptu meal with my husband and toddler. We had cashew pate but it came with so many tasty things in on the plate.
Read moreMy toddler had a plate of fruit, veg and hummus.
We had a merengue with ice cream and berries for pud.
Only negative was the lack of alternative milks. Only soya milk was available.
Pros: Good vegan options , Amazing quality food
Cons: Soya milk was the only alternative

Excellent food well worth the wait - Edit
We sat in the courtyard and it is a pleasant area. But it wasn't until we had sat down that we realised it is CASH ONLY (so a quick trip to the ATM down the road). The food, once it had arrived, was excellent. We got served initially very quickly and just ordered drinks, once they eventually arrived we ordered our main course which took some time to appear. There was another delay before we could order and received our desserts. Luckily we weren't in a hurry but the delays in between courses were too long. And it isn't the cheapest of venues either.
Read morePros: Tasty food, Pleasant Venue, Dog friendly (in the courtyard)
Cons: Slow service, Cash only, On the expensive side

Hidden gem - Edit
What a lovely restaurant. Their menu is lovely, staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of this little place is great. They have a courtyard area which makes you feel like you're sitting somewhere far away from the the little town of Diss, Norfolk. If you are ever in the area you must not miss this place!

Always good food - Edit
For a lovely veggie lunch you can't go wrong, on the odd occasion I'm passing through Diss I always stop off for a coffee or a bite to eat.
