So so

I ordered the mathlete, although the bean burger and bun were good. The lack of tomato, peppers and avacado was laughable (my group of friends literally laughed when I showed them). Maybe it was because it's shoulder season but for the price, I expected much better. On the other hand, I got a boatload of potato wedges.

Delicious!!! 😋

I wanted to check out this restaurant because the website/menu intrigued me! The food was so delicious!! We had the most amazing black bean burger with avocado and roasted red peppers!!! They have a great location too, right beside Byrne Plaza.

So So

I was in town for a day trip to the beach and stopped here for lunch. I got the Mathlete which is a black bean patty on an panini sandwich with avocado, red pepper and tomato. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. Definitely good in a pinch especially when the only other place I saw nearby was Subway. Just average for an Omni cafe

Black bean burger

Cute little diner. You order at a counter, and they bring you your food. They have both indoor and outdoor service. Check the hours on the website: the hours vary from spring to summer to off-season.

I asked about what is vegan. The black bean burger is vegan (which I assume means that the veggie burger is NOT). I was told that “mathlete” i.e., a black bean burger on a panini/ciabatta roll is vegan if you ask for it without cheese. I think that means the burger bun isn’t vegan. My non-veg husband got a burger and the bun definitely does not look vegan, it looks like a brioche bun.

Meh

The veggie burger is not vegan its vegetarian. it had feta and parmesan in it however it is housemade. The staff is friendly
