A Gem in Idaho Falls!! - Edit
Wow!! Never expected to find this gem in Idaho Falls! I had an amazing plate of gluten free and vegan empanadas stuffed with beans and veggies. Included rice and beans. Very tasty and filling. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

I totally agree. Such kind staff and the flavor of the cashew burger was amazing. They even made me raw veggies with hummus. My mom had the falafel and loved it, she's not even Vegan.

The plant based burger with all the toppings was amazing. Yes, it takes a bit to prepare the food, but didn't mind as I knew it was being prepared fresh. Would definitely eat here again!

They have a separate plant-based menu. I had the Nicaraguan plate which had an empanada, rice, beans, and salad. Everything was tasty and vegan. Service was great. I highly recommend.

I love how this restaurant has a separate “plant based” menu with several different options. The dishes I’ve tried have always been fresh and full of flavor. My favs are the falafel sandwich (can be made gf) and all the empanadas! So good!

I loved the plant based menu. I loved having this option in Idaho Falls and they seemed to be promoting plant based through their food and philosophy, in an area not known to connect with veganism.
Read moreWe had the falafel platter, butternut squash soup, and mushroom/vegetable empanada with rice and beans. The falafel were a bit greasy for me, and I wanted the butternut squash soup to have a little more body and seasoning. They do have a plant based tzatziki sauce; which you don’t often find in a non-vegan restaurant.
All in all, I would eat there again. We took our order to go and ate at the Japanese Garden a few blocks away. The restaurant reminded me of a tea room, and I found it charming. Owners were friendly and helpful!

Stopped in to see what is what about. Had the Taste Of Costa Rica, it was delicious. The empanada was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth the visit.

Visiting from San Antonio and found this place. I’m so glad I did! Reminds me of a spot called hash vegan from home. The owner was so nice and helped us decide what to get and even brought us free fries! The falafels and empanada were so good. I wish they had one at home because I’d be over often. But I’ll definitely be stopping by anytime I’m in town.

Great service, wonderful food. We had delicious empanadas, a lovely soup and yummy falafel wrap. There are two pages of purely vegan options and we were sad not to be able to try them all! The smoothies were also good.

Cute little place, stopped here while traveling and I got the vegan falafel wrap with a side of veggies and falafel. The wrap was good and the vegan tzatziki sauce was delicious! The veggies & hummus were okay, but the hummus was a bit grainy and lacking in flavor. The split menu was a really nice touch, as I didn’t have to worry about accidentally being served animal products, and the meat-eaters I was with ordered off of the meat menu. Overall I would definitely come back and try something else!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by an associate who gave us a breakdown of the menu and made a recommendation. We ordered a smoked gouda sriracha burger and a burger that had a cashew patty. They were both delicious and each came with a side. It was a pretty good value (about $24) for the 2 of us for lunch. The staff were very friendly!😄 We ate in the large downstairs dining room, which had the feel of being in our grandparents' home with some of the 'vintage' decor.

An Idaho Falls Gem - Edit
I was passing through Idaho Falls and came across AltaVita on Happy Cow and thought I’d give it a shot. This place was AMAZING! They basically have an entire duplicate version of their menu that is plant-based. I ordered the falafel appetizer and two empanadas (bean & cheese and mixed veggie & beyond meat). Everything was delicious. I would give this place 5 stars if I could. Extremely impressed!

i would rate it five stars if i could! roadtripping from MA and was so happy to stumble across this place. the mock chicken salad sandwich was amazing, they made sure to ask if i wanted it vegan or not. the plant based options are clearly marked and have their own menu. best fries i’ve had in a long time too! super friendly service and lovely space. made me happy to pass through on my journey!

I went here at the start of a trip and had their mock chicken salad. I had to go back because it was so good. The owners are really friendly and helpful. There are very few places in the area with vegan options and i was thrilled to find this family owned resurant!

Stopped in for dinner during our stop in Idaho Falls. Couldn’t have been happier. Customer service was great—helpful, accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stop here again! (This place deserves 5 stars, but sadly app doesn’t allow)
