Very tasty, very fast and nice location - Edit
Loved the place!🥰
Read moreThe location ist beautiful and just 5min away from Itaewon station. The stuff was friendly and helpful.
The Menu is (in my opinion) the perfect size — not too many dishes and still enough interesting ones to choose from.
After we ordered the food came REALLY fast. Like 5min after we ordered.
The jjajangmyeon were delicious bur a rather small size.
The mandu were also very good aswell.
The stir fried meat with sweet and sour sauce was a surprise. Firstly because it looked different from what I expected (I don’t even know what I expected 😂). Secondly because it came without rice. This was just something I automatically expected especially because of the rather high price (21.000₩). And thirdly. Because it was SO GOOD!! Woah! I loved everything about it!😍
One thing we noticed but actually really liked was that the food was not hot. It was warm and the perfect temperature to start eating right away.
For dessert we had the Cinnamon Donut and this was also AMAZING! Not too sweet, not too cinnamonish, not too much. A warm crunchy and soft bun with this amazing kinda salty sugar on top — delicious!😍
I’ll definitely go back and try the other dishes!😊
Pros: Delicious , Really fast and friendly staff, Nice location
Cons: The „meat“ dishes are pricey and without rice

Nice place!! - Edit
So excited I finally made it here. Just needed a light snack as I was out riding bikes and didn’t want to be too full, so I tried a few apps and both were so good! Can’t wait to go back for a bigger meal.

My favorite place to eat in Seoul. - Edit
I went there five times in a row just to try everything on the menu and I must say the menu was very consistent in quality and did not disappoint. My favorite dishes were the Sichuan noodles, the dumplings, and the eggplant dish.

Very good! - Edit
Loved the food in this restaurant. They have a lot of dishes with ‘alt meat’ which are a bit more expensive. We had some meals without that which were really great and affordable. I had the fried rice with beans and we had some dumplings and a very nice tofu salad (definitely try it!) on the side.

The tuna canape sent me to heaven. - Edit
The noodles were great as well, and for donu lovers its a nice little dessert. But best were the staff. So incretkind, id forgotten my card and they had me sit, eat and THEN locate my friends to have them pay for me. Just amazing trust ans kindness 🥰

this place is literally so so so delicious. we ordered a bunch of stuff and all of them were absolutely amazing! our favorites probably have to be the black bean veef noodles (jajamyeon), stir asparagus lettuce & veggies, and stir fried meat with sweet and sour sauce (tangsuyuk). definitely worth giving this place a try!!

Excellent vegan Korean food - Edit
We (my omni and I) came here for a meal. I have a nut allergy and asked the staff who said they don’t have nuts in the kitchen.
Read moreWe had a side dish which I believed was described as asparagus and lettuce - I don’t know if something was lost in translation or what but it wasn’t “lettuce” as I was expecting. However this dish was AMAZING and not spicy at all (which was a win for me).
We also ordered mapo tofu and mushroom soup ramen. Both of these were so tasty but very spicy. Watch out for the dried chillies in the tofu dish.
Overall, my omni partner said it was the best meal we’d had all trip, and I certainly felt like I’d had authentic
Korean food.
Definitely recommend!
Pros: Fully vegan menu, Nut free kitchen

Good. But alot of MSG - Edit
Nice setting, food presentation, and taste. My non vegan friends would love it. Portions seem a little small. We ordered a main dish, two personal dish, and a small side for two people and finished all of it without feeling too full. We also ordered 짬뽕 and mandu but didnt take pic. My nonvegan friend loved miso jjajangmyun. Its cold noodle btw.
Read moreI went back to try more dishes and today i tasted alot of MSG and food was salty. I had to take one star away. I dont liKe MSG

Big menu but repetitive taste 3.5 stars - Edit
Alt a is probably a great option for a lot of people. The menu is extensive and prices are competitive for the area. However, I am not a fan of the mock meats they use in the dishes. It's their own brand and the focus of their dishes. They taste quite sweet and somewhat artificial. The sauces and seasonings too were on the sweet side .
Read moreSome dishes here are good, the kampungi and whole eggplant dish are really nice. Fried rice is okay but not what im looking for when i want to eat fried rice.
If I want to eat Korean Chinese dishes I would choose another restaurant, but some the dishes unique to this place are worth eating

Amazing Food in a Lovely Place - Edit
We really enjoyed our dinner on the nice terrace on a mild summer evening. It was perfectly seasoned and we were amazed how similar the „veef“ tasted to beef. Nice portions, nice service and nice atmosphere. We can definitely recommend it!

The first restaurant run by plant-based food tech company. - Edit
We need more restaurants like this. Plant-based food company should be able to provide direct experiences to customers. Some menus are pricy but tastes good. Their chefs are trained kitchen staffs too.

Veganized Chinese-Korean - Edit
Alt.A is a new vegan restaurant and it specializes in Korean-Chinese food (yes, that is an existing cuisine).
Read moreTheir menu is large and consists of classic dishes (Jjajangmyeon, Jjamppong, fried rice, Mapo tofu, sweet and sours etc) and also a couple of dishes that are not easy to find in veganized versions.
They use their company's own meat alternatives to veganize the dishes.
The food here looks nice, but I found the taste a bit underwhelming (what I had was either bland or overseasoned). I feel like the quality is not consistent, yet, and am hoping this will improve in the future.
Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong etc appear cheap, but the portions are small. Eventually eating here gets expensive quickly.
The restaurant is spacious and there's outdoor seating next to the road. The atmosphere is clean and elegant with a touch of retro.
