Live music & vegan food - Edit
Such a vibe here! When we ate here there was super nice live music and it was nicely busy. They have nice seating areas, staff is friendly and food is good. Many vegan options. I had the avocado toast (really small portion tho) and the bruschetta. Both delicious. Would come back!

Great place with lots of options - Edit
Came back and tried several things here. All the food is nice but I did not find it amazing, also I would have liked slightly larger portion sizes.

Very good! - Edit
Excited to find a place with several options in Uluwatu. Would love to have tried more of their dishes!. The food was very good, specially the “halloumi” cheese! Staff was kind and friendly. The space was just tooo hot which made the experience less enjoyable

Delicious salad bowl - Edit
Really loved my salad bowl especially the tofu scramble. The components I chose were fresh and I felt really good after eating it. The sesame seed covered tofu was a premium ingredient and was not great, bland.
Read moreThere was a beautiful garden to sit in as well.
I arrived just after the electricity blackout started so couldn't order anything besides the salad.

The location is great. We went for breakfast but there are limited options, I think it's better for lunch. The white rice is a must

It’s more like a mini experience than a restaurant - Edit
There was a live band playing when we arrived and exceptional views of the greenery.
Read moreQuite a busy place but still the service was really good.
The food was even better, as it was our last day in Uluwatu we were greedy and had a sundae.
I also highly recommend their vanilla pina colada. Possibly the best cocktail I have had in Bali.

Mediocre - Edit
We went on a Friday night and the ingredients for many dishes weren’t in stock (some vegetables, salad dressing, grains, noodles, ice cream station), pretty disappointing as we are fans of the Ubud branch. The dessert (banoffee pie) also tasted stale!

Great place - Edit
Really cute and relaxed location a bit away from the busy main roads of Uluwatu. They have a restaurant and a coffee shop which are both attached to a yoga studio. We really liked the food and came here twice but it is definitely one of the most expensive places in the area.

We sadly didn‘t take pictures, but the food was nice. We had the avocado toast and the shakshuka, both good but not overwhelming. The coffee on the other hand was the best coffee we had so far in Bali.

Gluten-free galore - Edit
If you’re veg & gf this is a great choice. Having a labeled gf menu is really important for me - and they have options including gf bread and gf pizza crust. Plus, it’s already all vegetarian so regular vegans have way more options here than at other places in the area. Having menu availability improves my dining experience greatly.
Read moreThe gf pizza crust was solid and only marginally smaller than the regular size. I had the Pumpkin Moringa which was fresh like a garden. (Their garden area is very beautiful too.)
I adored the gf bread, I believe they have multiple kinds but only one was available that day - a soft pumpkin or potato bread. You can order a side of gf toast with vegan butter.
The fresh juices were lovely too. I’m a huge fan of beets so Ruby Mania was perfect. I had it twice.
Burger was sold out the whole week, it was on my radar. Lots of raw foods if that’s your thing, not mine. However the avo caesar salad was amazing. I always try vegan caesars in Asia and this is the best I’ve had, maybe ever in the world!
Are the negative reviews fair - sure, of course. It is expensive. It is busy. It is well staffed but quantity doesn’t always deliver. If you’re gf, their menu is a dream and I’m sure celiacs will appreciate it.
Pros: Gluten-free, Communal seating and garden views, Fresh cold-pressed juices

Slightly sad about it - Edit
I was super disappointed with the taste of some of these things. When I was reading the menu, I was making plans to come back everyday but after my
Read morem!lkshake came out, I wasn’t impressed. The best way I can describe it is “taste like a tree”. I love their ethos of trying to make healthy food taste good but it just felt very influencer focused.
I thought it had good potential. I’m a huge foodie and I left the chocolate orange ‘cake’ I got. I felt that it wasn’t great. I wouldn’t return personally but maybe I didn’t order the right things. It also was quite expensive compared to other Bali prices.
Pros: Service was good, Fast service , Pizza was tasty (8/10)
Cons: Expensive

I came for lunch and had a drip coffee, a really nice salad bowl- Champions Breakfast- and then had a smoothie. The overall ambience of the place is busy (but I did go on a saturday). If you're looking for somewhere to sit and work and don't mind the hubbub then I'd say this is the place, there are a number of tables that have plugs underneath for you to use. I sat at the back looking out towards the garden which was nice, there is also one at the front facing the car park which was in a quieter spot in the restaurant but the view wasn't as good.
Read moreThe food was alright but nothing special. My breakfast was lukewarm since most of the items were sitting out in the display- you can also do a make-your-own salad. So that was disappointing. Tasty, yes, but some of the things like the jackfruit and tofu could have been hotter and fresher. The coffee was standard and nothing special. The smoothie I had- the almond butter and banana mostly tasted of the fake vanilla or banana flavourings, it didn't taste like real fruit which, again, was disappointing. Also the glass was one of those silly ice cream sundae glasses and I evidently have a problem with that. IT's the shape. It's nothing personal. I just don't like the shape. They also gave me a massive straw, like a boba straw to drink it out of which I thought was weird. The coffee on the other hand came in a paper cup with a paper straw, which seemed bizarre. People who ordered hot coffee got it in a ceramic mug, but cold coffee obviously comes only in paper. I'm not sure why.
Also, I saw a couple of people with soft serve ice cream which I got excited about. I asked if it was plant based and the server said, and I quote, "Yes, it's plant based. We use dairy milk and coffee. That's it." Which is my definition of NOT plant based. This is why I got the smoothie instead. Another disappointment. Gosh, I hadn't realised there were so many until I wrote this.
Overall, I'd say if you need somewhere to sit and recharge your tech then this is the place since there's no entry fee like the co-working spaces around Uluwatu, but if you're going for food it's overrated.
Pros: Charging points , Lots of tables
Cons: Not everything is plant-based, Food was cold, Generally overrated

This is a MUST GO !!! - Edit
My most favorite restaurant in the whole world! I would come back to Bali just because of all the amazing vegan restaurants and Alchemy in Uluwatu was my most favorite ❤️ Definitely go for the Jackfruit Smokey Burger, I would eat that forever 🤤 and try the Chocolate and Banoffee pie and you will want to move to that restaurant 😂 We were here multiple times and the service was all the time great.

Delicious food - awful Service - Edit
I really hope that the bad service that evening was just an exception. We waited a very long time for our order to be taken. We had 2 cocktails, 1 bottle of water, 2 mains and 1 side. The water came quickly, followed by the first Main after 10 min. (Good!). Then nothing happend for more than 20 minutes, although my side to the court was still missing. At some point the cocktails and the rest of the food arrived. We then waited a long time with empty dishes....because we wanted to order dessert. In the end we just left. The food was good, nothing too Special but good.
