Luxury When It Was Needed Most - Edit
At the end of a short, but tumultuous stay in Tirana, this place was a bastion of peace and relaxation. Situated around a corner, up a flight of stairs and end the of the manic departures concourse, the feeling I got when I arrived here couldn’t have been at more odds than with what I was experiencing downstairs. This was a very classy lounge with delightfully helpful staff who were on hand to point out the available options, of which there were more than I expected, and the quality of them also far exceeded my expectations. Mainly iterations of local dishes, they all had great flavour and were well stocked up which meant I more than had my fill. Of what I had, the burani probably just about edged it as my favourite, though it was a close call as even the salad bar was mightily impressive.
